Love my burgundy skirt. I'm 5'8'ish and a size 14 with full-on childbearing hips and it fits well, down to top of flat shoe length. Please note though my length is in the top half, not my dumpy legs. It's a heavy weight skirt, good for winter, spring and autumn. Works with heels or flat boots. It does leak in the wash, though so please be careful. I now have a pair of burgundy undies!

I adore this skirt so much I went back and ordered two more in different colours. It has a drawstring waist so will fit literally anyone. It’s not a bulky waistline though which is a bonus. I am hoping to carry on with my weight loss so this skirt will follow me in my journey!! It’s so sumptuous and swishy. I adore it!!

I used this skirt to represent an 18th century Hereford farmers wife in a play.

Gorgeous and well made skirt. I was hesitant about buying clothes from amazon because of the sizing etc. Seems truly free size. I am about a 12 and it would fit smaller and bigger frames with ease as it has a tie waist. Fabulously rich merlot colour and the velvet and embroidery are beautiful. Full length too on a 5f 6 height. Perfect and quick delivery.

Really liked the look of this skirt so I decided to take a risk and buy, because I’m never sure of the length. At only 5’3” most things end up to long. Well this fits me!! So well pleased!! All the stitching was fine, as some reviews said theirs weren’t. I always wash this type of clothing by itself as the dye always bleeds, and I keep it separate from everything else when it’s wet, as the dye will transfer to anything else that come in contact with it. Overall I’m very happy with my skirt

Love the combination of velvet and embroidery and the colour is a rich, deep purple. Beautiful! Am buying another in a different colour as the quality is so good. Definitely recommended.Great Spring and Summer skirt too, nice quality material that is not flimsy.I wear a broad elasticated waistband (mini skirt size) on top of the skirt to help shorten the length and flatten the waist and hips. It can perfectly help to adjust the length to requirement and flattens any subsequent flair around the hips. An effective trick to make you look thinner too. Cover with a long top.

Exactly as described and as per photo.high quality product, looks great. However note I am 5ft 4 and its a tiny bit long for me so if you are shorter you would need to redo the hems.

If this had been on a shop rail, I would have put it back and looked for another that had been sitches with a little more care. The seams of some of the panels have been missed in sewing causing the fabric to fray at the edges. (I'm hoping some fabric glue will fix this). There are also some loose ends, that need threading to the back. (Only 1 left in stock)That being said the rest is very well made, and the fabric is of good weight. The colour is as shown. 12-14 and 5'8" this comes just below the ankles.Would love another in a different colour sometime.
