All around solid setup. Super easy to setup. Quality is outstanding. It’s the best bang for your buck out there. Did tons of research first. Although there are some cheaper options, none that come close to the build quality and subsequent longevity of an Arlo system.

There are Lithium 123 batteries that must be used for this. I suggest buying a cheap ($10) battery charger, and an extra set of batteries for this. That way once the batteries die you can replace them and simply charge your extra pair. That makes this affordable and well worth the price.

I now own 4 Arlo cameras and a base station. They work well. My biggest complaint has to do with the app and Netgear’s lack of support. I had difficulty getting my wifi to see my base station initially and the app was not helpful. I finally got on my laptop and managed to figure out I had to register it before my wifi could see it. It took a couple of hours to figure out that little pearl of wisdom. Otherwise I like the cameras but they use batteries up pretty quickly if the camera is somewhere with frequent activity, such as the front door.

I really like how this whole system works. So far I've been really happy with it. The app is really user friendly (though I didn't think I was getting the power base thingy), and it's been amazingly helpful for my husband's anxiety.Although I'd advise that you don't let your dog get ahold of it, it's surprisingly sturdy. Ours is a heavy chewer who got ahold of it, and it still works. We just have to get some tape to hold the batteries cover in place.

I have had my 6 camera system for just about 3 years after the first year, I had to buy extra batteries, then I bought solar connections for 3, after 6 months all of my cameras would not sync.Then i went on local recording with USB drives. That lasted 4 month before all of my cameras went completely off line and will not turn back on with new batteries and will not connect back to the hub, reinstalled them updated the software they turned on for 30 mins then went right back offline. If your looking for something with longevity just avoid ring you will tank me later.

The cameras are easy to install and have great pictures, but are unreliable. They constantly drop off the network and require fiddling with the base or cameras to get them to reconnect. You either have to power down the base station or reset the camera to get them to connect. It’s very frustrating.

These are great for the most part. Really easy to set up and use. The picture quality is good, much better than my ring. Everything about them is simple. If they hot a little better distance at night they would be perfect.

It was easy to set up and works great. Product was in perfect condition. This adds great security with no monthly fees or subscriptions.
