External USB 3.0 + eSATA Enclosure Case For 5.25" CD DVD BD-R ROM Burner Writer DVD BD CD Case

The most important thing to know about this enclosure is this: It will hold extra-long, 5.25"-width ODD's, as well as smaller sizes, making it more adaptable. I tried another brand, and it was too short to accommodate my ODD.Also, this enclosure features an e-SATA port, and most of the other brands for 5.25"-width ODD's do not.My only complaint, if any, is that the screws for the case are rather small. One will need a small, Philips' screwdriver in order to assemble the case correctly.

IT WORKS FINE FOR SSD. HARD DRIVES AND DVD/CD DRIVES I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH IT ONLY ONE THING WAS THE SMALL SCREWS ON THE SIDES OF THE TOP AND BOTTOM

I would not recommend this item. It does not work. Tried the sellers recommendations to no avail.

Optical Drive Enclosures with a ESATA connection are hard to find these days. This Model does the job very well. Installation was easy except that I had some difficulty getting the Drive to fully slide inside the Case because it was a very tight fit.

This product can accommodate any optical drive, CD, DVD, or Blu Ray drive. It comes with Cisco power plug, genuine Cisco product for enterprise backup solution. Just need to secure the drive from the bottom with screws.

I bought this instead of the Sabrent boxes I had used in the past because the Sabrent Usb3 boxes have no cooling fan. Fans is better. So far, works fine. Neither Sabrent or this vendor developed the silicon for the Usb interface, so they are probably using the same chipset.
