Really like it. It can pick up outside interference, so select a good channel.

Easy to set up, easy to use. My Wife and I got tired of yelling up the stairs and getting no reply from our pre-teen kids so we got these in the hope it will be less easy for them to claim they didn't hear us. So far so good! I have all 3 units set to the same channel and code so we just have to push one button to talk to both kids. The audio is clear and loud, and they can respond just as easily. The distance between our units is less than 30 feet so I can't speak to the range but for our purpose these units are great. The seller contacted me via Amazon's system the day after delivery to inquire as to the safe delivery of the item, explaining they had received some reports of rough handling during transit/delivery. I replied that mine had been delivered in good shape and that I had installed them but had not yet configured and fully tested them. I think they slightly misunderstood that and thought I had experienced problems during setup, offering a few tips and assistance with setup. After I replied that I did not in fact have any problem and had now had time to fully test them, they again contacted me to thank me for my business and assure me they stood by their product and its lifetime warranty and were available should I ever need any assistance or repair. All of this was within 24 hours. Based on this communication I am inclined to believe they would truly stand behind their product should I ever require support. Very happy with this product!

This works great, it is basically a "base station" type FRS/GMRS radio. You can use it if you have USB Power available like a power bank. It has decent range. However looking at the manual Channel 1 and Channel 22 are swapped Channel 1 is 22 and channel 22 is 1 in the band it uses. Not a problem unless you do not know about the channels if you think it is broken it is not just that some how they swapped the channels for whatever reason. It uses CTCSS codes and some DCS squelch codes as well to limit it to radios that can use those features. There is 99 codes I HIGHLY suggest you read the manual online as the product does not come with one so you know what to do if you use an FRS/GMRS Radio as one of the transceivers. It has been very useful for the time I have had it and it helps me stay in touch with my mom. The monitor feature is great if you need to listen to a room or a child. The only cons are that of the channel swap and lack of manual with the product. Pros: Long distance, easy set up once you know the ins and outs, compatibility with the FRS/GMRS radios, Monitor feature, VOX feature, call button. Easy on the eyes with the channel display and a lit up talk button to see in a dark room.

Great little device and exactly what I was looking for. These operate on FRS and all 22 channels and privacy codes are available. This means they can easily communicate with handheld FRS walkie talkies, which is super convenient if you are already using walkie-talkies in your building. It has around .20 watt output which is excellent for use within a single building. Mine works through a thick concrete floor and few concrete walls just fine. Las thing, the VOX actually works!!! With many FRS radios you have to literary scream into the speaker to get the VOX to activate, making the feature useless. Not so with this device, the threshold is just perfect.

Pros: 1. The build quality is good. 2. I like how it can be powered from USB (5V 1A). 3. It uses standard FRS frequencies and codes (38 CTCSS codes + 61 DCS codes). Cons: 1. When configured for codes 4 through 38 (CTCSS), the intercom occasionally lets transmissions with the wrong code through. DCS seems to work well, so I recommend only using codes 1 through 3 or 39 through 99. 2. It does not send a "roger beep" at the end of each transmission. 3. It can be mounted on a wall but the face of the unit would be tilted slightly down, and there's no wire management on the bottom. Other Notes: 1. To avoid interference from other FRS/GMRS radio users, it's probably best to stick with channels between 8 through 14 because these are the least useful channels for them. 2. Codes 1 through 3 are DCS codes 83 through 81 (in that order), codes 4 through 38 are standard CTCSS code numbers, and codes 39 through 99 are standard DCS codes 1 through 61. 3. The 100 codes you can select do not really give you any privacy, they only keep your intercom silent until it hears the code. Unlike your cell phone or modern cordless phone, transmissions from this intercom are not scrambled in any way, so be careful not to reveal any personal information while using the intercom! 4. The GROUP button always transmits on Channel 14 Code #2 (DCS N743). This cannot be changed. All stations listen on this channel and code in addition to the channel and code that you choose. So if your neighbor gets the same intercom and decides to use the GROUP button, your own intercoms will pick it up, and there doesn't appear to be a way to lock that out.

I wanted to buy a good quality affordable intercom system that was easily expandable and of good quality. I had purchased the WULOO Solar Driveway Alarm and I was pleased with the construction, instruction manual and easy set up so I purchased these. Overall, I am satisfied with the build quality and the easy set up. Their manuals are excellent and give step by step instructions. They are not your typical hard to understand manual. I can recommend these with confidence. My wife was able to set her station up once we expanded to 5 intercoms. These are supposed to have a 1 mile range but I would not expect that unless they are line of sight with nothing between you. If you are in a fire tower on a mountain and you home is in the valley there may be a possibility. LOL Remember, you are limited by certain types of construction as to your actual range. Our home is 1800 sq/ft and we have no problems. These can also be plugged into a power bank if you want to use these out in the yard and you don't have an AC power source. Voice quality is what you would expect out of a speaker this small. Think walkie-talkies when you were a kid. Voice Quality is good, not high fidelity excellent. They are worth the price. Brief: Slow squelch break and obnoxiously loud kerchunk make this FRS intercom a poor choice compared to other better made units. When an individual presses the talk button and begins speaking, the first word is often not received by the other unit, or more specifically it is received but squelched out as the squelch is slow to open. This is also a problem if you disable regular squelch and use the CTCSS / PL tone option. In my office people often reply with a simple YES or NO response to a question I present, and I don't hear their response at all as the squelch doesn't open in time. I do try to remind them to hesitate or pause for a moment after pressing the talk button, but how soon they do forget. Our other FRS intercoms seem to have a more responsive squelch as to prevent this problem. Also, the loud kerchunk sound when breaking transmission is much louder than the person's voice coming through the unit. It is loud and obnoxious. I makes me hate using the Intercom.

Anyone who isn't happy with this product probably didn't deal with this companies customer service. I received the items (3 in a box) and 1 of the units had an issue with the microphone - the sound was all muffled and quiet and you couldn't understand the person on the other end. I contacted the company from the contact info in the box (very easy to find). I got a response from them within 30 minutes. After explaining my issue, I had a replacement in my hands within 48 hours from sending that first email. Now they all work GREAT! I have them between 3 floors in my house. Not a huge distance but there are walls and floors in the way. Very easy to setup and comes complete with everything you need. Plus good instructions on how to setup and use. AMAZING customer service! Rarely have I seen such great customer service. This is what gets them the 5 star rating more than anything else. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 3 way intercom system for shorter distances (less than half a mile). I don't know how well they perform past that.
