Replacement for FURNLITE FC-952 Light Bulb by Technical Precision

This product appeared to be exactly what I needed for my office furniture. Same wattage, style, and length. Unfortunately when I went to install it, it did not reach to both sides. My original T4 bulb is exactly 17 inches. This bulb is 16 and 7/8 inches. That is very close but not long enough to engage with the electrical contacts in the sockets. That 1/8 inch is very important. I will look elsewhere for a replacement.

Hard to find this type of bulb locally... Was kinda hard to be sure that this was an exact fit from the original bulb because there are so many "replacement" numbers for the many defferent generations of this bulb... But it is exactly as advertised, and fit / worked just fine.

Bought this product because my office desk requires this bulb. I almost just replaced the light fixture instead of replacing the bulb, but felt lazy. The bulb is too pricey for what you get.

Will update review after get new one. Something was rattling in it right away and did not work. I will blame it on shipping damage even thought it was padded fairly well.

It wasn't easy to install, but the cause of that was the fixture, not the light. But eventually I fiddled it into the right position so it wouldn't fall out. It works and I'm happy.

This light only lasted about 6 weeks. The one I bought prior lasted just 4 months. My original lasted several years. The next one lasted a couple years. Last two have not been the same quality and expensive to keep buying again. Would not recommend.

It was a little bit hard to twist in, but once in, it works great. Hope it lasts as long as my last one, 13 years over my desk.
