Finally a Bluetooth lock box that works!
First, I didn't want to give a review until I was at least a couple of weeks in with this device. I purchased a couple of others including one from a well-known brand and they both were garbage. They Really didn't work at all. But this one is fantastic. It Does exactly what it says it's going to do and it's not hard to figure out at all. A surprise feature was that not only does it tell you what day and time someone opened the lock box but it also tells you when they closed it back which is very important. You can then tell if someone had the key out for an extended period of time and may have had the opportunity to copy it or something. It also survived hurricane Ida. I use it in my office which located in a part of the town that got severely flooded. Even the floors in our office were ruined. But this product stayed pretty dry. It was a little damp inside but it has a sponge device that soaks up any excess water that gets in. It Really didn't bother device at all. Excellent product!

Good Design, Great Support When Needed.
I have three Igloohome Lockbox 3’s and in general they have been the excellent solution to my problem of getting keys to guests. The Bluetooth generated codes can be short and easy for guests, but the Permanent Key, or One-Time-Key options are both awesome for added hand-off corner cases. I did have one incident in my eight months of owning the products where I couldn’t get the lockbox open due to the latch getting stuck in the opening process. I called a locksmith to crack it open (I’ll note, these things are very sturdy, took him a WHILE with even a metal saw) and the company was very supportive of getting me not only a replacement but also repayment for the mechanical mishap. Honestly a huge relief and awesome part of the process was support specialist John Flores who was top notch, attentive, and made me feel comfortable in continuing to partner with Igloohome. Thanks all -

It was good while it lasted ... but that wasn't very long, just out of warranty
For the first 18 months of use, I would have given this lock a 5-star rating. The app is pretty easy to use and it's great to be able to set permanent and temporary codes, get access logs, etc. BUT Last week the latch on the lock broke and I am informed by customer support that it cannot be replaced so I have to replace the entire lock. Mind you this lock was opened perhaps once a month since it was installed in August 2024, so less than 20 times. And the most critical mechanical part of the lock failed. Since the lock is out of warranty, there is no replacement. I was offered a 25% discount on the purchase of a new lock from the manufacturer but that's hardly worth it; we I said this, they increased the offer to 30% but that still is not enough of an acknowledgment that the lock failed early and badly. I am very disappointed in the reliability of the lock - there must be a manufacturing defect for such a heavy duty component to fail after such little use. And the manufacturer does not stand behind their product, so that tells me a lot too. There are many other options in this market - I would suggest looking at a different supplier. I have purchased from a different manufacturer and hope I have better reliability with the new lock.

Ahead of the curve
Just received the Keybox 3 and went through the set up process. It does require a bit of reading, but not overly complicated. Once completed and set, it's an awesome product. You can send a code to a handy man or house cleaner from anywhere and they can enter house. Same for adult kids that you just aren't comfortable giving "anytime" access. Well done igloohome.

ESSENTIAL for remote operation, but expect it to be finicky
We had an existing Igloo lockbox that we used for our vacation rental for about 4 years. Because we operate the rental remotely, we desperately needed more options for flexibility when creating codes, and this bridge provided just that. Namely, this allows to create codes that DO NOT EXPIRE 24 hours after activation, giving me and my guests more flexibility if they need to check-in a little later than anticipated. Additionally, I can recreate code pins if the pin code is needed longer than originally anticipated as well; and, as a bonus, pin numbers are ONLY 4 digits long instead of the very cumbersome 9 otherwise required for remote generation. Furthermore, this bridge allows you to access lockbox logs so you can see when it is opened and closed and by whom (a godsend if you're trying to figure out if someone has checked out or not). In effect, this bridge allowed us to continue to use our Igloo lockbox after we ran into major functionality issues that had us looking for alternatives. I would go so far as to say that this is ESSENTIAL for remote operation. -HOWEVER- The bridge itself has some persistent connectivity issues that are frustrating. It needs an electrical outlet, and it NEEDS to be very close to the lockbox itself- anything further than a few feet away and you'll run into low signal/occasional disconnecting that will need to be remedied (so hopefully you'll have an outlet near your lockbox, but *indoors* because this thing is not rated for outdoor installation, which... lockboxes are outside, so. Logistically a bit of a puzzle). It also needs to be on a wifi network for use- not unlike other remotely operated "smart devices". As other users have mentioned, prepare for this thing to have a hard time staying connected to the wifi network as well. It needs to be reset every so often to reconnect- I have mine installed on a smart outlet so I can do a hard reset remotely when this happens. In summary: PROS- -Provides ESSENTIAL flexibility for remotely operated lockbox function -Makes your lockbox easier for guest use (4 digit pin) -Keeps your lockbox synced remotely -Allows you to access logs in real time -Technically easy to install CONS- -Persistent connectivity issues, with both the lockbox and the wifi network -MUST be installed within a few feet of lockbox, but not rated for exterior use. -Occasionally doesn't communicate with app for no obvious reason GOOD TO KNOW- -needs an electrical outlet -needs a wifi network CONCLUSION- Absolutely essential if you have an igloo lockbox that needs to be operated remotely. Wish the connectivity was more reliable, but beggars can't be choosers in this instance. Get ready to MacGyver a workable location for this thing.

Make sure the bridge is within10 ft.
This lock box can be a little tricky at first, but once you understand how it works and how it connects to the internet, it really works well. The two different size door knob shackles made it possible to get the best fit for our front door lockset, which did not have a knob. It had a handle and a dead bolt, and a storm door, so it was important to get the lockbox to lay flat. Placing the bridge within 10 ft of the lockbox is the key to everything working. Although we were able to make it work 25 ft from the bridge, it wasn't always a stable connection. We also created multiple permanent pin codes so we could remotely switch as needed as we lived 4 hrs away. A great product, although they should bundle the bridge with the lock and the bridge should include a USB power supply and cable so you don't have to run to the store to buy one.

Superb lockbox for Airbnb hosts
I have been using this lockbox for over 2 years, and it has worked fantastically! It's very easy to connect to Airbnb so that it automatically sends the codes to guests upon check-in. It's also straightforward to remotely set up access as needed (e.g., for cleaners or guests on platforms other than Airbnb), and you can specify the time frame during which the code works. The only minor issue I've encountered is that after 2 years, the cover of the lockbox, where the numbers are, has a plastic film that is getting frayed, making it harder to read the numbers being pressed.

Nearly $200 lockbox that’ll last you just over a year
I loved the idea for this lockbox — with the duration codes, I could give my house cleaners a new code every time and not have to worry that they would use the lockbox code to come back at other times and break into my house. But it was annoying that in order to sync the device on the app, you had to have your phone near the lockbox when you synced it. This meant that I never remembered to sync it and so I never knew when the batteries were running low. But the real problem came about a year into owning it. I had changed the batteries in October, and the batteries are supposed to last 9 months. So imagine my surprise when my cat sitter tells me over Thanksgiving that the lockbox is dead and she can’t access the keys to feed my cats. Cue panic. But we used the 9V battery restart to get the lockbox to open and she gets the keys out and just leaves them for me in my mailbox. When I get home from the trip, I change out the batteries to put the lockbox back outside. But nothing. Doesn’t work. Try the 9V battery. Still doesn’t work. The Igloohome is dead in November 2020, even though I had bought it in July 2019. I contacted the company — the best they can do for me is offer me a 10% off coupon for a new one. Seriously? I’ll go back to using an old school lockbox, thanks. Less stressful and cheaper to replace every year plus than this one.

Reliable and Convenient Smart Lock Box!
I have to say this is the best Lock Box on the market. The igloohome Keybox is an excellent solution for securely storing keys while offering great flexibility and convenience. Setup was straightforward, and the mobile app makes it easy to generate Bluetooth keys and PIN codes remotely—perfect for Airbnb guests or family members. The best part is that it works without an internet connection, which adds an extra layer of reliability. The build quality is solid, with a spacious interior that easily fits multiple keys or access cards. I also appreciate the added security features, such as auto-locking and activity tracking through the app. Overall, this smart lock box has been a game-changer for managing access, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secure and hassle-free key storage solution.

Great product - description misleading in no way works remotely.
This is a great product, definitely worth the money to make life easy. Setting up codes is simple. I use it with my Turo business and all my guests love it. I've used other boxes and all the guests do is complain. However it does not work in anyway remotely. Unless you redefine remote to be standing there with int in your hand.
