I'm using this to cut 20mm electrical conduit, 40mm waste pipe and 15mm PPE pipe in a kitchen build. It cuts well on all of them, the only issue I have is when cutting near the end of the pipe it can deform it slightly, but i just press it back into shape after. It has also left a jagged edge in the same situation but that's only happened a couple of times in 100s of cuts.the only other downside is that the wire clip (which holds it closed when not in use) has a tendency to wander back around into the close position, and you find yourself working the tool without the jaws closing on the pipe. After a second of confusion, just push it back round again and it works.Saved me a ton of rubbish hacksaw cuts, so this is definitely recommended..

wot a great cutter I have used in on 15,20 and 40m pipes all cuts are so much faster and so much cleaner than other methods. Wish I had one years ago :)

I needed a simple, inexpensive pair of pipe cutters for a small diy project.These fit the bill, not the cheapest, but are cheaper than a "named brand" and they are more than up to the task for it.I am happy with them, and they cut nice and do the job.

Bought this cutter after much deliberation over really cheap versus expensive. Selected this one because it looked the part with a curved anvil section, stepped blade and a ratchet, all for a reasonable price. I needed it to cut MDPE water pipe which needs square and sharp cuts with no burrs or dwarf. I was not disappointed, excellent cut with no effort. Prolly best to keep fingers clear.

I've used these cutters to cut push-fit pipes up to 38mm diameter. If you are hasty they are useless and crush the pipe. However, if you slowly increase the pressure and slightly rotate to get the cutting edge to bite they cut cleanly and accurately. I have found them useful but not indispensable.

I bought this tube cutter specifically for cutting blue plastic waterpipe, 25mm, often used for water supply in the UK. It works perfectly! The cutter is all metal, and easily cuts a clean square edge with very little effort. I found that if the cut was more than about 20mm from the end of the pipe, the pipe did not distort when cut. The blade can be removed for sharpening, but probably won't need to be for a long time.

Really liked these pipe cutters read a lot of reviews about a few similar tools and most were good but nearly all of them mentioned the flatternig of the pipe when you cut and yes they do squash the pipe slightly but if your pipe is new it will spring back into shape these did the job very clean lines no swarf to tidy up after makes repetitive pipe prep a breeze recommend.
