225 odd fire
I just installed this in my jeepster 225 odd fire. It works great my issue is throw the instructions away contact someone that understands odd fire engines. The seller will not answer the phone which I believe is a big negative in my opinion. You will have to grind the intake a little bit. The vacuum advance hit my fan when installed so I had to install a elec fan. The jeep runs amazing but with no customer support and no one to talk to I am sure there are other options out there. If it weren’t for the great guys on FB jeep commando group I would have sent it back. There is a couple of UTube videos on the odd fire about the install that is very good. You really need to understand this to install it once you do it’s straight forward. The three stars is due to no customer support

Works better than expected
The grinding the intake to fit was easy. Running the power was also easy, tapping off the hot side of the now unused ballast resistor(green wires). I couldn't get it to start for a long time. Set TDC on the compression side. The rotor will be between 11/12 o clock looking from the driver side. Remember, odd fire engines need the #1 post to be the short contact post. I couldn't get the timing close enough to fire so I had to pull the distributor up and clock the rotor one tooth to get my adjustment.It runs better than ever!I tested the coil and it specs out like it should. It's better quality than the Chinese replacement coil from O'Reilly's and has thicker wires.Also uses an Accel ignition module. Pretty decent quality stuff.I swapped the vacuum advance with one from a Chevy celebrity for clearance on the fan. You could also use a fan spacer.I gapped my plugs to .050.

It Works BUT !!!
The product is excellent BUT !!! The amount of modification that must be done to install it is totally unacceptable, You should not have to cut away part of the intake manifold to make it fit, The proper fix would be for the manufacture to extend the mounting platform to an exceptical distance from the mounting bolts, allowing for proper adjustment of the timing, of the ignition system... Fits a Jeep with the 225 Dauntless
It fits, but you need to grind 1/4" off the intake manifold and its front bolt. I swapped out the OEM hex bolt for an allen head bolt. I must have taken the distributor in and out at least 15 times to see if I had taken enough material off. Once I had it seated I discovered I needed to clock the body counterclockwise or one of the hold down screws would hit the intake manifold. But once done it started on the first fire and works great. Had A Team provided a grinding warning and instructions I would have given them 5 stars. You can't beat the value, this new distributor is cheaper than buying a rebuilt one.

A little grinding required
Would have been 5 but it didn’t quite fit. I had to grind off about 1/2” of the intake manifold including part of the first manifold bolt head. So far it is working great!

Better have a grinder!
Not a drop in! You will need to grind a significant amount of the intake manifold and half of a intake bolt.
