Bought to secure garbage bags to pop up garbage bins for camping and they work awesome! Significant value compared to gear ties and should last me as long as I need them. Easy to use with a ton of extra for other odds and ends uses including holding up my wife cucumbers.. ya know, the intended use!

** UPDATE After 1 year of use **I was a little concerned about the durability of the rubberized foam exterior, but after 1 year of outdoor use, all of my gear ties continue to be fully functional.** FIRST IMPRESSION **Fantastic product, it is not as heavy duty as the regular gear ties, but it is very grippy and has an internal wire of good quality and thickness. I use it for outdoor activities like camping, but it can be used for anything, just like any other Gear Tie.At a local outdoor store I had the opportunity of testing similar products, "UST Gear Snake" and "UST Gear Cobra" and they were very low quality, slippery and flimsy, these garden ties are much more substantial.For ~$10 they are a fantastic deal. I don't know why anyone would buy the more expensive regular gear ties.Keep in mind that cutting the material in pieces will expose the internal wire to the elements. For this I use some Heat Shrink Tubing to seal the ends.

These little green twist ties they say are to tie vines to stakes. "I laugh at you!" I've tied vines to stakes, organized cables, tied back curtains, collected together a bunch of poles, laced it through a hanging wicker basket for strength and to make it look pretty! I'm sure I can thing of plenty more things to do with it. The trick is that it can be any length you want up to 20ft/6.09M. Gotta go! I just realized I can organized my archival boxes with this!

Cut to desired length. So much better than wire, string, or twine. We use on crab trap doors, chicken coop tarp fastening, cords, packs of anything. Much cheaper by the roll than individually cut collections.Hardy. Twist, un-twist, re-twist easily.
