Black Bird, Vol. 8 (8)

I love the story and the detailed art of this series. Couldn't really find it anywhere in stores or on their sites. Only real downfall to ordering this is that it came mangled. Since I ordered more than this one on Amazon I'm not gonna think to harshly on it since they didn't come harmed. I love books and hate seeing them being damaged. If it's from reading it so many times that's fine, but other damages make me so sad.

I purchased this book for my daughter because she loves the series so much. I price here was more reasonable than any book store and they shipped it when it was available. Great.

Love it love it love it. For me I think it's the best book by far I wish they will make it on Nextel soon

I absolutely love this series! I'm happy that it has so many volumes!

I absolutely love this series and especially Kyo and Misao's relationship and I know what people are saying, 'Kyo is such a nasty, sadistic boyfriend, he's so mean to Misao and Misao is such a worthless crybaby and blah blah blah' but if you read between the lines you notice that Kyo is actually a sweet and caring boyfriend, sure at times he can be pervy but that's what makes the story funny in it's own way! He really does care for Misao and doesn't want anyone else to have her, it actually made me so emotional, he wants to protect her and doesn't want to hurt her but his choices are limited because he's a demon and is being pressured by his clan and people. Misao may cry a lot but imagine yourself in her situation, being attacked by demons and being made to live a life that's so different to what she expected. I hate it when people say 'all she does is cry' but don't you notice that at some times she can quite strong in a tough situation? E.g. when she got locked in the storehouse with Sho, I didn't see her crying in the corner like a wimp shouting 'HELP ME, HELP ME!!' Raikoh annoys me about how he goes on about being on the 'justice side' when really he is jealous and is doing this for his own selfish purposes, you can tell he wants Misao all to himself!All in all, this volume presents a lot of emotional impact and really does touch your heart at times (I was almost in tears at one stage in the book!)
