Nupro(20 lbs Joint Support for Dogs

I have used NuPro Joint Support powder for my dogs for several years.It's tastey. Of course, I speak only from observation. It makes a brown gravy when mixed with warm water and added to dry food. My dogs gobble it up and it looks yummy.I love it because I know I am supporting their health from the inside out. Even though I buy a high-end, nutrient-packed dry dog food, I noticed their coat and skin quality improved when I began adding NuPro Joint Support. Of course I purchased it for one of my dogs with severe hip dysplasia. I added it to both dogs' food just because I wanted them both to have the benefit of the nutritional boost. (Can't play favorites!)My dog with hip dysplasia, Wolfer, was given 4 years to live because he was born with malformed hips and I was told the pain would kill him and he wouldn't be able to walk. He was on a regimine of only NuPro and a supplement called Glycoflex for 8 years before I had to start him on medications for pain (Deramax). He lived to be 12. He swam, he ran lickety-split through tall grass, played with Jazzy (my other younger bigger dog) and followed me up and down steep steps in our house many times a day. On the last day of his life, we took a swim.Was it just the NuPro? Probably not. But I'm sure it had a part to play in both the length of his life and the quality of the time he had with me.Now Jazzy is older, stiff and limps a little. You can be sure she gets her daily scoop and a half of NuPro in her "dinner" every day. She deserves the best and NuPro helps me provide that for her. Scrappy, her younger Terrier-mix playmate who scoots around and is full of pep also gets the supplement in his food. I consider it prevention.It's expensive, but I feel it is worth the expense when I see the obvious health, vigor and longevity of my beloved pound-puppies. I took on a responsibility to care for them when I adopted them. Nupro is part of the "care package."

I bought this after a fellow boxer lover recommended it for my arthritic boy. All I really wanted was something that I didn't have to shove down their throats. Well, about a month after we started giving it to all 4 of my dogs, I noticed that one of my boxers, who had alopecia and the other was bald on his belly, BOTH started to regrow their coats!??! Weird. And my gluten/environmental allergy boy stopped itching and hasn't had a single symptom since we started him on it, despite a bad Spring and HORRIBLE Fall for allergies. Honestly, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself. I went back and found quite a few reviews supporting what I'd been seeing. It's expensive and SUPER expensive for our house with 400lbs of dogs, but honestly, I won't go back. It's very convenient, all four dogs love it and now they don't really want to eat unless it's in their food. Great product. Wish it were a little less expensive.

I've been giving this to my dogs for a long time now, I like what I see as far as vitality, coats, and overall health. The problem I've had is that in the smaller packages, consistent inventory seems to be a major problem. This is my first purchase of the "giant bucket" but it will not be my last. It's cheaper by the pound this way, and I just keep some in a smaller container on the counter rather than keep the big bucket out all the time. Great stuff, every dog should try it!

This stuff is wonderful, my older pup needed some relief! I have a 11yr old Golden and he was having issues with his hips I tried fish oil, as well as other supplements and they did not do the job that this stuff did in improving his quality of life! I would highly recommend this to anyone that has a senior dog! My poor boy was actually starting to fall back down the stairs and I would have to carry him up two flights to bed. After one month of this his hips stopped cracking and popping and I did not have to carry him anymore. His appetite returned and he is back to being a puppy again! I honestly thought that it was getting close to having to do the unthinkable to my poor buddy, I am so glad that I tried Nupro!!!! THANK YOU NUPRO!!!

Let me start off by saying that I never review products online. However, I was really on the fence about this product given the price, so I want to help anyone else that may be in the same situation. I started giving this to my boys about a month ago, and I can already see a huge difference. My one boy, Wallace, is a 10 year old Bullmastiff who was really starting to show his age. He has a previously torn ACL, which was getting bad with arthritis, combined with the natural aches and pains of a dog his age and size. Since starting him on these new supplements, he’s been able to play with his younger brother more and has been able to join us again on our longer walks. My other boy, McDouble, is a Neapolitan mastiff/ Rottie mix that has a lot of medical issues, one of which being hereditary joint problems, due to poor breeding (he’s a rescue). I have started him on a low dose of the supplements and have seen improvement in his leg strength. Prior to starting him, his front legs would shake and buckle after playing. At 10 months, you don’t want to tell your dog he can’t play with his friends. While his legs do still shake some after playing for awhile, it is definitely less, and I haven’t seen any buckling. All around I would highly recommend.

We constantly share this product with every other dog owner we know. Our 4-year-old male rottweiler, Romeo, developed severe hip dysplasia as a pup, and had TPO surgery before he was 1 year old. It helped, but didn't fully correct the one hip, and his other wasn't perfect either. After putting him (and our slightly older male rott) on this supplement, the results have been miraculous. He jumps up onto the couch, he jumps and climbs into the pickup. He runs and chases his brother like any other dog.Let me be more clear. When Romeo was diagnosed with dysplasia, the breeder suggested he be put down, doomed to a life of pain. After the surgery and especially this supplement, he lives a normal life and is by far, the happiest dog we have ever seen. This supplement is powdered magic.
