Q: Is this double acting baking powder?

The best place to find out about this product is their website: ener-g.com/baking-powder.html I have used this product in baking with good results. Doesn't have the exact taste of baking powder because no sodium. But if necessary to not use baking powder or baking soda, this allows user to make baked goods.

Q: Does it contain cornstarch?

Baking powder normally contains a little cornstarch to keep the acid and the carbonate dry so the powder doesn't become inactive over time. It appears to contain two carbonates and two acids. If it doesn't contain corn starch how can it remain viable?

Q: Is this the "improved" baking powder?

I love this baking powder!! It lasts forever and contains no sodium. Perfect for heart healthy baking needs. I use it in everything.

Q: is this the old or new version of this product

I am not sure this is an OLD or NEW version. I have used the product for 2 years in all my baking with no difference between regular powder and this. I am very pleased with the results.
