Hog Wild Squirrel Popper Toy - Pop Foam Balls Up to 20 Feet - 6 Balls Included - Age 4+

I bought this squirrel popper as a joke for our grandfather who absolutely HATES squirrels. And it is very cute. It comes with 6 of the foam balls and it works very easily. You have to make sure you don't shove them in there too far though or it is a bit difficult to get them to pop and they come out with a lot of force. But if you just put it in and make sure that it has a nice seal around it then it pops out nice and easy! Even my 4 year old can play with this toy without any help. We have several of these by this manufacturer and they have all worked great. What is also nice is that the balls are all the same size across the different characters so you can interchange them.

Cute and fun toy for young kids, parents and grandparents. Won't hurt people or damage things "rapid fire" at anyone, so isn't overwhelming to younger kids. You can make up a target game, too. You'll need to buy at least two poppers to have a battle!HOWEVER - Just be certain to pick up the balls so animals or very young children in the household won't chew them or swallow them. They could easily be harmful in that way. Otherwise, just a fun toy!

Me and my girlfriend play a game where we hide each other's and steal them they all have their own names in sharpie. Probably spent way too much money on them. Also our kitten loves to chase around the foam balls and carries them in her mouth.

These animal poppers seemed like they would be lots of fun. I put one in each of my kids' Easter baskets (they are aged 11, 9 and 6). The kids loved them for the first day or two but now I rarely see them. I think they would be great at a birthday party for immediate use but I don't think they are good as a long term toy. I bought the squirrel, the penguin and the unicorn. The penguin and the squirrel pop better and further than the unicorn. I think that is because the unicorn must be squeezed from side to side, rather than front to back. If you are debating which animal to choose, I would look for an animal that you squeeze front to back. Also the squirrel design has hands on the belly which sort of impede the squeezing process. Out of the three I purchased, the penguin is the easiest to squeeze and pops the furthest, probably because he has a nice open belly to squeeze. I am glad I chose three designs with three different balls, this eliminated the fighting over who had what ball.

I'm a speech-language pathologist working with students with special needs - almost all on the autism spectrum. I use this toy the most with students who are beginning or emergent communicators just learning to use communication devices and it is fantastic! Sometimes it's difficult to keep my students engaged and find motivating new activities, but this is perfect! So much language! (my turn, your turn, [ready, set] go, put [ball] in, again, eat, etc,.) the list could go on. I would recommend this to anyone who works with kids who are working on acquiring language! It's definitely motivating!

Bought this for my two boys. It is well made and packaged. The squirrel is just hard for little hands to squeeze.

Cute and fun to play with. We also have the moose one.Wish they came with a storage for the balls. But as far as I know, none of these products do.Package took a week to get here, but technically still arrived ahead of schedule.

Not a great toy. Our cat hates it and won’t go near the balls after they have been popped out. And it requires a lot of hand strength to pop the balls.

Great fun on Christmas morning!

Lots of fun and good range on those projectiles. The cats love chasing the balls all over the house. The adults love playing with it as well.
