Also works great for lime and calcium stains around the house. This has the same mild acid that the hard water stain removers at the grocery stores have but, It's way stronger. My wife was having trouble with hard water stains on our kitchen and bathroom sinks. Due to it's smell I figured this product contained Phosphoric acid. (don't quote me on this). So I gave it a try one day. Man doe's it work great. Let it soak for a bit till the bubbling stops, then clean with an old tooth brush or equivalent. reapply if necessary. Also use rubber gloves and eye protection as stated on the product label. As a side note: Rust Kutter if you read this you should consider relabeling a version of this for the kitchen and bath isle. You would blow the other brands out of the water.....

First, the actual product itself works great. I sprayed it on a few rusted areas on our car, and the light surface rust vanished and the heavier rust turned black.A few weeks later, I went to try it on another vehicle's rust, and nothing was coming out of the sprayer. After a few more minutes of pumping, the liquid started pouring out of the side of the sprayer, all over my hand and arm (FYI, this stuff BURNS when it gets on your skin). I washed off the sprayer, and removed the cover to discover that part of the sprayer tube had snapped (see pics). This is a very bad design because when ever you rotate the on/off end, it puts stress on the long "tube" part that connects to the main "pump" part. Also, when you pull the pump trigger, it also puts stress at the same point. The result, the plastic snaps at the weak point.I thought I could maybe super glue the pieces back together, but super glue won't bond to the plastic, at all. So, I now need to find a new spray bottle that the product won't eat through, or a new sprayer top that fits the original bottle.

seems to work at converting rust although when trying to wipe it clean or wash it off the area that's treated seems to turn white even if that is washed off again it goes from the clean metal surface back to the white not sure if it is supposed to do that but it seems to have worked overall no rust or white comes through after priming and painting.

Stopped the rust from spreading!Used it on a few small rust spots on my car. Happy with the results!

The chemical works ok, but the sprayer is garbage. I transferred to another spray bottle.

I had some old rusty antique iron pieces that needed restoration. Navy Jelly left a mess and was hard to wash off if it sat too long. This product was easy to use, easy to clean up, and worked great on the rust. So much so that a single coat of spray paint made the iron look like it was new. No uneven bumps or lumps under the paint. I used it for some rusty screws. Let them soak for a few hours. Cleaned them up and they look almost new. Will buy again when the time comes.

This stuff works great. Well worth the money. It converted the rust exactly as it said it would. I will definitely be buying more when this bottle runs out.
