I've spent years searching for the right foundation for my acne prone skin. I used to wear Prescriptive because they were the only line that did custom blending at the time, and being of mixed decent I had a difficult time finding foundations that had an olive/ yellow undertone but since they went out of business I had no choice but to find another option. I used MAC for a few years but found myself determined to find the right foundation for my skin. As I've been to the mall plenty of times and walked right past Bella Pierre kiosk. I decided to try my luck. I had two different girls that helped assist me in finding my perfect color. The color I chose to come close to my complexion was brown sugar. I swear by this product til this very day... Its perfect for oily skin and gives medium to full coverage without feeling like you have heavy weight foundation caked on your face. I definitely prefer a mineral foundation over a liquid for oily/combination skin.This is the best mineral foundation out on the market that comes in a variety of colors, and most importantly undertones! One 3oz normally last me about 2-3months before I have to place a new order (its worth the investment & such a great price)!

I have been using this product for over 6 years now. I hope it never goes off the market! It works great with my skin. I have combination skin. My skin is also prone to acne. I have to be very careful what I put on my face. It has not cause me to break out and my skin looks better after using it. Maybe it's the zinc oxide? If you get acne, I highly recommend this product. Make sure to moisturize before putting it on your face and after washing it off. This will help prevent your skin from becoming too dry. I also take a small piece of tissue paper and dab gently on my skin after putting on the moisturizer. This will help remove excess moisturizer. This can also be done throughout the day if your skin gets oily like mine.

I tried this foundation at a kiosk at the mall about a year ago and fell in love with it! I am very skeptical when it comes to kiosks, so I didn't purchase it at the time. I went home, read reviews, researched it, and then went back to purchase the foundation. I have acne prone skin (I am seeing a dermatologist, am on medication, and will soon be on accutane), so I am very careful as to what I put on my face. I am also a makeup artist, so I have tried many products over the years as well as done lots of research. I have tried bare minerals, estee lauder, clinique, etc... I even have Luminess Air (which I still love but not for everyday use). I have used bellapierre foundation for about a year now and really like the way it makes my skin look and feel. I use this pretty much everyday and am barely having to purchase another one. I will say, however, that I do like it better when I use the primer with it. But, considering the fact that I only have to purchase the foundation once a year, the price isn't so bad. I would definitely recommend this to others!

Feels very lightweight like I'm not wearing anything. Also looks natural and is a nice color. I have used bare minerals medium beige and this is a pretty close alternative. Also like that it has spf. My only complaint is the price. I tried a few other brands for that reason but ended up going back to this one bacause it looks the best. Other brands have more of a peach or orange color and don't look as natural. I purchased this in cinnamon.

I first started using this product close to six years ago, after finding a trial kit of it at TJ Maxx which included a really good quality Kabuki brush, which has held up perfectly through constant use and cleanings without noticing the loss of any bristles. Anyway, that small jar lasted over a year, then I searched diligently to find more without success... UNTIL AMAZON! And the price isn't too bad, considering how long it lasts. However, in December of 2017 when I first found it on Amazon it was $17 for this same size jar, and has shot up to $45, which is a ridiculous rate of inflation on any product, and the reason I gave it 4 stars 🌟. So I was super excited when the product popped up on my screen while shopping Amazon which included a $25 coupon. Hell yeah!!! I've said all that to explain the reason why I will pay even the regular price for this product: Though it's considerably more expensive than the original bareMinerals Foundation which is about $35 at most retailers, it's worth it because it's a much better product for dry skin than bareMinerals is. And I would imagine that would be true for all skin types. bareMinerals goes on my skin thicker or cakier even using the same amount and same brush than bellapierre Mineral Foundation which gives a far more natural appearance. After allowing my Origins Perfect World moisturizer to sink in, I apply this and it locks in the moisture, without even having the appearance of wearing makeup. Yet, it covers the imperfections in my skin, i.e. age spots and occasional blemishes. And the best part is it stays on and doesn't rub off onto your phone the way liquid foundation does, even when face powder is applied over it. Believe me, I've tried them all, but this is the best product by far... for my skin anyway.

I’m beyond happy with this product. About a year ago my skin that was never much of an issue my whole life decided to torment me with cystic acne that I tried EVERYTHING to get rid of. Finally I changed from a high end liquid foundation to this, and now my skin is not an issue anymore. The color I picked is a little yellow for my skin tone but it blends enough that I’m going to use it up and pick a different one next time. Love that you can layer it however much you want for your desired level of coverage too. I feel like I’m not doing damage to my skin wearing this and that’s SO impressive for the price tag.

I used Bella Pierre Mineral Foundation makeup about 6 months and liked it. Then Ulta had a sale on a Bare Minerals starter kit. I love, love, love, Bare Minerals. It covers flaws so well I hardly need any concealer at all. It also makes my large pores disappear! I use the original formula.

Truly amazing coverage, feels so light and lovely! I have medium toned, Caucasian skin with yellow undertones. This shade is a terrific match. Tried Bare Minerals in the past and switched to a store brand version sold by a major chain, but this will forever replace the store brand version I had used for so long. It is a large container and I imagine it will last the whole year, which makes it an affordable option.

Love this product. You can have as little or as much coverage as u like by applying a little more as suited. Great colour, very natural. You cannot feel it on your skin, very easy to wear. I have used this for many years and always go back to it.
