Olay 7-in-1 face lotion with sunscreen has been my absolute favorite for almost 20 years! It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and moisturized without feeling heavy or greasy, and I love having the added sunscreen protection. After hearing so many great things about this moisturizer for the past few years, I really wanted to try it. I actually tried it about two or three years ago and found it to be too heavy. But I think my problem was not the moisturizer but the face wash I was using. I had always thought my skin was oily, so I was constantly using products designed for oily/acne prone skin. I think I was drying my skin out, causing it to produce extra oil to compensate. Anyway, I'm now using the Olay Daily Facials for Normal skin, which work great. Up until about 3 months ago, I was using Olay Complete moisturizer for Normal skin, which was working fine but I wanted something with anti-aging properties, since I just turned 30. Since I've been using the Total Effects, I've noticed that my skin is softer. It also appears to be a little brighter. The tone is evened out some, as well. I sometimes get a little redness around my cheeks and nose. That has not completely gone away but it is diminished. I have some fine lines across my forhead that seem smaller now, especially if I moisturize before bedtime (I use the Total Effects Night Firming Cream) but more often than not, I go to bed without washing my face or moisturizing. Also, I use the Fragrance Free version (with SPF) and it truly is free of any perfumes. The only smell I get is from the SPF. I like the pump design but it is a little difficult to tell how much is left in the bottle. I have to hold it up against a light to judge the amount. One bottle has lasted me from the beginnng of August until now (Oct. 21) and there is a little left, which I expect to run out any day now, so about 3 months. I was getting about a year out of the Olay Complete bottle, which is 6 oz, so it would be nice if this came in a larger bottle. I'm very pleased with this moisturizer and will continue to use it, along with my other Olay products.

In my late twenties, I tried just about every moisturizer I could find including rarified ingredient boutique lotions but my skin remained dry, hot, itchy, flaky, and I was seeing laugh lines around my eyes. I was about to give up hope until my mother, who likes to shop at dollar stores, came to visit and bought me this at the full $20 price. I have been using Oil of Olay Total Effects ever since. I am hesitant to even try the regenerist because I like this so well. On the occasions I do try other lotions, they never measure up. My skin thanked me after the first application. After a few days, it looked better, was less red, less chapped. Within a month or two (or less, I don't remember after 7 years) I had no lines near my eyes, my skin feels soft and comfortable unless I abuse it. When I abuse it, this lotion makes it feel better. People consistently guess my age to be 5-8 years younger than I am even though I have grey hair. While they swear it's not because of the immaturity, it's either that or OoO T.E. lotion. I almost never need more than a tiny amount the size of a pencil eraser to cover my face, neck and hands. (Keep the cap or it dries out.) I use this UV version in the morning and a non-UV version at night. I recommend it to anyone looking for a facial moisturizer that works as good or better than advertised. Absolutely worth the money. 2012 update: Still using this product and still highly recommend it, but sometimes switch it up with the Regenerist (comes in a similar container but squirts out the top) which I can now also recommend. Just had several people my age (near 40 now, when did that happen?), and the lady doing my facial tell me that I have wonderful, young looking skin and again guess that I'm years younger than I am. I have minimal wrinkling and my skin feels good. I don't have a problem using either product near my eyes. I do have some coloration problems after a tanning situation- the Regenerist may be slightly better for coloration issues, but I can't say for sure. I get an even silkier feel to my skin from the Regenerist. Don't forget to moisturize your neck and hands, everyone!

Makes skin feel super soft and helps with wrinkles. Absorbs really well!

Works well. Speeads evenly but leaves an oily sheen though it is water based. I did not develop any pimples. My wrinkes and face have smoothed out after 3 weeks. But my face looks tanned
