The FROG @ease Floating Sanitizing System combines sanitizing minerals and SmartChlor Technology to kill bacteria two ways with up to 75% less chlorine. The result is Fresh Mineral Water that’s silky soft with far less odors and the easiest water to maintain because it’s self-regulating. It knows when more sanitizing power is needed and automatically delivers it. You sit back and relax until FROG @ease flips over. Then simply replace the SmartChlor Cartridge for another 3-4 weeks of worry-free hot tub enjoyment! With FROG @ease, there's no constant monitoring or mixing chemicals. You shock only once a month and it's easy on hot tub surfaces with no smelly odors. After 4 months or when draining and refilling the hot tub, it's time for a new FROG @ease Floating System kit that includes FROG Jump Start shock and FROG @ease Test Strips. Compared to the minimum ANSI recommended chlorine level of 2.0 ppm for a hot tub.

SO EASY and CLEAR WATER!!!!!
I loved the ease of this product. I was hesitant to spend that much $$ right off, but am SO glad I did. I had just drained and refilled my hot tub and used it once. The water was instantly cloudy. Just 3 days with this frog in there and the water is crystal clear and odor free. :)

Getting pricey
It's my "go to" system, but going to source a less expensive option that won't have me tossing the plastic housing in the garbage all the time.

Very Impressed
We are new hot tub owners and we were struggling to keep the water clean and clear but also we live in a rural area where we cannot run out and buy chemicals very quickly. After months of making sure we don’t forget to treat it and test it before we plan to use it, I ordered this system. I can forget I have a hot tub for weeks and then open it up and the water is crystal clear! This is one of the best products I’ve ever spent money on, I absolutely love it! Very happy!I heard people said it sounded broken when it arrived, it does but there’s Little Rock’s in there, it’s meant to be that way. I put the silver pod on and popped it in the water and it’s been 5 weeks and it’s not flipped over yet for a refill. It’s not at all expensive if you compare it to the amount of chemicals and labor you save.

Easiest way to keep hot tub clear
Have used this product since day one with the hot tub; very easy system to use and regulate.

Simple to use
I have been a hot tub owner for a significant number of years, my first was an old redwood tub. After years of struggling to get the right chemical balance I have found that Frog Ease is the easiest and most effective way to treat your tub. Of course you still need to shock and de- foam as well as making sure your ph and alkalinity are in spec. But if you are diligent in maintenance then this product is the way to go.

Not as good a product as it used to be....
I used to really like this product, but I'm getting annoyed with it now. Seems like the manufacturer either has quality control issues, or they may no longer be concerned with providing good value for your dollar. When using this product in my spa, I have always set the silver half of the ball (disperses chlorine) to the lowest setting (1), and it keeps the chlorine levels in my spa right where they should be. However, when I first started using the product a couple of years ago, the silver halves of the ball were lasting about a month before needing to be swapped. But the longevity has been slowly but surely slipping, and the latest one lasted only about 2 weeks! I don't know if this is due to poor control of either the quantity or the speed of solubility of the chlorinating material, or a deliberate attempt by bean-counters to increase company profits by providing less product or inferior product for the same amount of money. Paying $80+ for a nearly "set & forget" spa treatment system that lasted about 4 months seemed like a decent deal, but now paying the same amount for only 2 months worth seems a bit like a rip-off. In my opinion, this product is no longer a good value for the price --- which is regrettable.

Examine before you use!
Like other reviewers, I received my Frog kit and was excited to try it out. I snapped it together and two days later, I went to check on the hot tub to find dozens of little white rocks at the bottom. As it turned out, the chlorine dispenser was broken There is supposed to be a 'knob' of sorts that lets you adjust the amount of chlorine and that knob was never there. It was my first time using it so it didn't occur to me that it was missing until I bought a second refill and saw it.To those who get the package and find the chlorine granules all over the inside of the bag like I did, check to make sure that you have the knob to adjust the amount. My chlorine levels are through the roof to the point that I had to take the floating unit out. I also now have to pick out the chlorine rocks from the bottom of the hot tub or hope that they eventually dissolve. It seems to be a good product and they have some quality control issues. I don't know if I'll buy another one as it's too expensive to have this type of issue.

Great Kit effortless spa for 4 months
I used for four months now and had no issues with water. The kit will last four months and I recommend doing a water change out at that time. I have a 480-gallon spa and it lasts a month exactly within a day before flipping over. Makes your spa effortless one thing that I should note is I have a spa that came with ozone and UV sanitation so I don't know if that helps like it's supposed to, so performance maybe different for someone who has neither method or only one of those sanitation units on their spa.
