Just what I wanted at the right price

It's a filter. It fit well and works well. What else can be said? :-)

Works well and does the job.

Used this in an RV water system. The filtration is fine but it reduces the water pressure by 30%-40% and the reduction becomes greater as the filter loads.

I have this in an external filter housing for the water an older refrigerator uses for the icemaker. After installing the CFBC-10, my ice cubes immediately had a light brown tint. I disconnected the line to my icemaker and let about 15 gallons of water go through this new filter which cleared up the problem. It's probably just loose residue/particles from the new filter media, but I just don't want to use ice that's light brown. In the past, I've bought a CBC-10 (different model) that has never had this same issue. I don't know what the difference between the filters is, but I'll be going back to that other model and won't be buying this one again.
