Good to try the flavors
Got this so I could try multiple flavors, the Spring Onion is my favorite. Garlic and Vegetable would go great with chicken, not a huge fan of the lemongrass and chili.

I received my order
I was really upset when my package arrived and it seemed to be only 1 flavor because the outside of the box said garlic and vegetable. The next day I opened the box and the variety pack I ordered was there. I like these soups. Not a lot of flavor, but a healthier choice.

The variety pack is a wonderful combination.
This is one of my favorite soups. All of the different flavors are nice and mild, and very tasty. I usually add a little salt after I cook it, but that's just me. I like how easy they are to make, and how quickly I can make it. It's my emergency go-to for when hunger strikes and I'm feeling weak. The soups thicken up nicely after you let it sit for a few minutes, allowing the rice noodles to soak up the liquid and flavors. It ends up being mostly noodles then, which is the way I like it. I highly recommend!

Shipped incorrectly
Portion is small but is tasty. I ordered the variety pack but received 12 the same which is disappointing as it costs more for the variety pack.

Know What You're Buying - Healthy Thai Noodles
Update: When I made this review, these were $14.99 and a great deal. Sometimes they are cheaper to buy them in a store. My Review: These noodles are good. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. This is a great, cheap meal that is quick and easy to make. I used to live in Thailand. I am gluten free - so these are the best quick meals for me when I don't feel like really cooking. My favorite one - most flavorful, is the one with garlic & chili. These meals are reminiscent of basic Thai noodle meals I would eat when I lived in Thailand. These are not going to taste like Ramen noodles - packed with insane levels of salt and chemicals. This is much healthier with less ingredients. If it isn't flavorful enough for you, add some spices. I always add a massive amount of cayenne after it's heated up and soaking. It is much much more flavorful. I also wanted to really get a good amount of broth when eating the noodles. In order to do this, I need the noodles to be smaller. I will take the packet (after opening it, while holding the end closed) and crunch those noodles up with my hands while it is still in its packaging. Then, I open and pour it in a bowl and pour boiling water over it. I have a kettle to heat up the water. But, rice noodles can be tricky and it's never cooked by that alone. So I then put it in the microwave for 1 minute (sometimes 1 1/2) and then I let it sit for another minute and it's perfect. Since I broke the noodles into smaller pieces, I can then eat it with a spoon (for more broth) or a fork.

Sensitive stomach over here!! Shocked at how gross this is...
I have a gluten/wheat and dairy allergy. Very sensitive to wacko foods. I have been cooking with the Thai Kitchen brand for a while, the phad thai kit in particular. I was really excited to give this pack a try given that the rice noodles were coupled with wheat-free seasoning. I was not prepared for how disgusting it was... the flavor for all 3 packs (spring onion, garlic vegetable, and lemongrass chili). First of all, I felt that the oil packet was unnecessary. I did use it the first time but I had instant diarrhea, the oil just went right through me. So I avoided it for the other two flavors. I've never seen something like that before, an oil packet. Second, I feel that cooking with 1-cup of water is too little with how much seasoning is in the packet, but cooking with 2-cups is too much and the flavor is lost. I even tried 1.5-cups for the third time -- but at that point I had had a war with my toilet and didn't even care LOL. For those who actually end up liking these, it'll take some experimentation. Onto the food itself ... The shrimp flavoring in the lemongrass chili was over bearing - I tasted ZERO lemon. It tasted like rotten fish, and it gave me a stomach ache. Later followed by diarrhea. The next day I tried the garlic vegetable, hoping for a revival, as it's a very typical flavor. It tasted like old soup... I'm not sure how you get garlic flavoring wrong -- but it almost tasted like when you discover a garlic salt container shoved in the back of your cabinet and it ended up tasting grotesquely stale. Reluctantly I tried the spring onion; as you would expect, the onion tasted rotten and stale. I'm quite taken aback by these results -- back in the day before I was aware of my allergies, I would eat "Top Ramen" and the sauce packets were exceptionally flavorful with no weird/strange aftertaste or rotten/stale flavor. "ITS A NO FROM ME".

Great ramen noodle replacement for gluten free folks
Awesome replacement for ramen noodle packets for those of us who cannot eat gluten products. They did come in a soft sided envelope package rather than a box, but the rice noodles bend a bit when dry so there was minimal breakage. Flavors are good. Strong enough without being overpowering. If you are used to very salty ramen packet flavoring, this will taste bland in comparison, but just look at the ingredients lists to see how much "less bad" these instant noodles are for you than most instant noodle packets/cups. There are also a ton of ways to prepare them. You can microwave or cook on the stovetop. I will also boil water and then pour it into a bowl over the noodles and let them sit for a while to soften. Even if the noodles are broken, you can just add a bit more liquid and make noodle soup! These are definitely my new post-work "I don't want to cook but an hungry" pantry staple.
