Great Adventure Kids Bible Card Game Set

As a homeschooling Catholic family, studying the Bible is part of our daily routine. I really like how this card game can introduce my younger kids (4 and 6) to studying the over-arching storyline/narrative of Scripture, from OT to NT, and get them all ready (ages 4 - 10 currently) to not only just understand the 'greatest story ever told' a little better, but help when we plan to use some of the other "Great Adventure" products!Only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 - I think it would be great to get at least 4 of the cards that outline the time periods (there is only one in each set.), and to have it be a fold-out card, so you can see all the timelines at once.

I bought this as a prize for my CCD class and the child that won it brought it in for the other kids to play. They all loved it, and they retained what they learned through this card game. I have a first grade class, but I also played it with my daughter who is 12 and she really liked it too. Sometimes the children get bored and using things like this really help to break up the routine!

this time lime is a great visual aid for young children and even myself. I use a different bible curriculum for homeschooling my children, but this fits with any curriculum used. its helps little ones put into perspective just how long people had to wait in Bible history. thanks for making such a great and easy tool.

I was disappointed in these cards. There are no bible verses or even chapters or verses listed on the card and maybe that's my fault for not reading closer to the details. I also assumed there would be more but once again it's probably my fault. These are simply a card with a heading on them for example "Samson loses his strength" or "Day of Pentecost". I wish they would have given the location. They are thin cards but laminated and the pictures are nicely done! This item is listed as a lower price on the item than what I paid for them on Amazon. It is definitely overpriced for what you get! I wanted to love them and help my kids learn more about the Bible but I just can't love these and would not recommend at this time. We do have the great adventure storybook and are enjoying that.

I'm a big fan of the Great Adventure Bible Timeline series by Jeff Cavins, and the cards created by his daughter are also great! I bought them to use in my homeschooling endeavors, and I'm learning along with my son ... while having fun. Great product!

This is a wonderful, concise easy to follow timeline! My children can follow it with no problem and it puts everything into clear view. Well done.

Totally met my expectations. This is an awesome teaching tool.

Good idea but I am having to hold onto it for a little while as I realise my grandchildren are a bit too young to fully appreciate the significance. Best age for this game I think is from 6yrs up.

What an expensive card game. I thought the cards were confusing and that the instructions for the games were not clear at all for children to understand. Even Ned Flanders would hate this crap game!!
