Does more than I expected. This printer offers more than it appears in the specs. It's relatively easy to use, has a great feature set and once you're familiar with it, is likely to be used more than you originally planned.

Great label-maker! Very versatile and it prints quickly and quietly. I haven't explored all of its options yet, but I am extremely satisfied. The sample tape that came with the label-maker printed out at least two dozen labels, so I expect the other cartridges I purchased to last a long time. I echo Ashley S' s comment about the wasted tape at each end of the label, though. To quote her: "By default, the label maker prints a wide margin to the left and to the right of the label, which uses a lot of additional label tape. If you go to Label - cut option - and select small margin, it will shrink this margin and save tape." However, be warned that the first label you print after making this change will have a long lead at the beginning, as will the first tape you print from a new cartridge. The small margin option will save you a TON of tape, though.

User friendly and the save option saves time. The fact that it accepts different widths is a plus. Good purchase.

Super easy to use. A great way to get organized. Once items are labeled, you can store a lot of stuff in a small space. I have not used its power features (eg link to PC) and already I love it.

Bought this for my mother in law because typing has become too difficult for her at age 90. She loves how the label maker allows her to address her bills and letters properly instead of her trying to work with a typewriter or pen, while suffering from arthritis. So far, it works great and I don't think it's worth all the fuss and effort to save tape by various tricks. We just use it and enjoy the benefits of easier living.

We use this in our metal shop to label bins and bags and materials. It's one of those "Why didn't we get one of these before?" things. It's so nice being able to read things clearly from farther away, and have things be professional looking. We use it for all kinds of things, and while we don't use it every day, we use it often, and more and more often. Sometimes we just use the built in keyboard, but we keep it plugged into a laptop out on the production floor so we can make large groups of labels whenever we need to. Very handy.

My earlier (but similar) label-printer finally died, and I bought this replacement. The tapes bought for use with the previous printer cannot be used in the new version, and while the new machine seems more multi-featured, it is also vastly more difficult to choose just the style and size I want. Also, there is an uncontrollable waste of tape at the start and finish of every print-run.

Easy to set up and use. Existing templates for labels are vast, but lacking in the area of plant (botanical) labels. Multiple labels can be made for plant sales and identification of plants in gardens.

You need to read the instructions and get up to speed; once you do that, this is a very versatile little machine.
