Not 2MP as title suggests, but works fine.
I can't really fault this microscope. I had one similar to this years ago and it stopped working. That was close to £50, this was £11. I needed it for a one-off task, so I wanted to spend as little as possible.I plugged the camera in without installing the drivers and it was detected immediately by Windows 10. I used PotPlayer to view the stream. The camera worked right away, no problem. The LED lighting is great and the ability to vary the brightness is really useful, better than my old one. It worked as expected. If you haven't used one of these before, you may need to lower your expectations because I wouldn't really call it a microscope. Don't expect to view plant cells with it :) You can pretty much fill the screen with the nib of a ballpoint pen (I've included an image with this review). The included stand works well. There's plenty of cable. Some sharp metal tweesers are included, which is nice. The only problem I have with this purchase, is it specifies 2 Megapixel resolution (2MP) in the description. This would imply a resolution of 1920x1080. But it's only 640x480 (0.3MP). In fairness, it does state in the detailed description list that it is 640x480. I noted similar cameras listed higher resolution stills, but 640x480 streaming - which suggests to me that they use the same sensor. So to summarise, this camera does exactly what I wanted it to and was the cheapest of the bunch when I bought it. I'm very happy with hit.

Cheap and cheerful... but...
I wanted this microscope so I can make adhoc diagnosis and repairs to circuit boards. Unfortunately, while the camera is reasonable to magnify the amount I need, the stand is just too small. The plastic clip around the camera is flimsy and WILL break. See the photos (sorry, Amazon won't let me change angle) You can see the camera right on the circuit board, how am I supposed to use test equipment on the board or solder new components? In the last picture you can see I binned the supplied mount and modified my helping hands to at least build the circuit board and the camera. Needs more work on a decent stand it will be vertical. As for software, the link in the "Chingleeesh" instructions doesn't work. I found my own in free software after 2 minutes internet by searching. You can see it's not that bad of an image, good enough for my use. I just wish the LEDS were brighter as some circuit boards have black components on dark background s.

Camera gives surprisingly good results but needs better stand.
The media could not be loaded. Max magnification by my reckoning was approx 220After messing with it for less than an hour I gave up and purchased a better stand...https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0797PPX8D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Once mounted in the stand it works well and does a good job for the money. It would be easy for the uninitiated to think it does not work as it can be very fiddly to set up butsee my video of a tiny snake like creature swimming around in a single drop of water squashed between two glass slides. Note:- The width of the whole video is less than 1mm and the width of the creature around a tenth of a mm.

Not 1000x, Not 2MP
This is not 2MP, the sensor is 640x480 which is 0.3MP. I have also compared the zoom to my very old 200x zoom Dino-Lite USB microscope and they are almost identical as you can see in the picture. The zoom seems to be exactly the same but this microscope has a smaller sensor so captures less of the area. This would be fine for kids to play with, or for quick identification of small parts. Just don't expect to get any high quality images from it.

Very happy
Very happy with this purchase, good quality images and very easy to use. Great value for money. Only issue is you have to download a different programme to use the camera but another reviewer left the link so it was easy to deal with

Better than i anticipated
After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a go as it was very cheap, was much better than I anticipated, zoomed slot better and clearer than I thought, easy to use, and will be very useful

Poorly designed
Magnification is not so great. Microscope itself is being pulled by USB wire and not properly held in place by stand. Lighting is insufficient, and picture is really grainy and poor quality. Also the necessity to touch the scope to adjust the zoom - it's terrible.

Shows in my devices as Isnkam-312
However, I have the latest windows 10 - and it will not capture to anything, not to clipboard, movie player, nero, vlc. moviejack, power producer or adobe.SO WORTHLESS and the stand is pretty useless with no base weight
