Good value Nice Project Strobes
These are pretty cool , Both units are wired to a tiny inline board or chip about 43 inches apart which controls the output to the lamps. I ran them off two fully charged 3.7 lipos in series which put out 8 volts and they worked. I then added a 3rd 3.7 v lipo in series with the first two lipos and it was even brighter on the ~ 12 volts the 3 lipos provided. At 12 volts the pair drew 50 miliamps. which is 0.050 amps. I really did not want to burn it out so I didn't try adding a 4th lipo which would of took it to 16 volts. I'm not sure how many lumens each lamp puts out. The lamps are not fixed -> they strobe , you can't control the pattern. It just goes thru pre-programmed strobe patterns and its plenty bright enough for use as an emergency beacon on the street. They are directional. Low current draw. They are bright enough to blind you if you were to look right into them in the dark. Not as bright as some of the state of the art strobe flash lights. But the price is fair and you can build whatever you want out of them. I believe the bolt they supply for mounting is way too long so I would deffinitely cut them down substancially or get shorter bolts as I believe it would damage the wires if you screwed them in. Over all I would buy them again , and I might
