I have Christmas lights in my front yard, on the side of my house, and in the back yard. I had timers on each set for the same time but they would never come on at the same time, sometimes the difference would be 30-40 minutes. That drove me nuts since only part of the lights would be on and I kept thinking how stupid it probably looked! (Dramatic, I know.) So I did some research and found that these wifi based outlets work great turning things on at desired times. I bought two of these, one for the front and side and then one for the back and they work awesome!! They turn on within 30 seconds of each other and my Christmas lights are now perfect! They were easy to install once I read the directions and read that you had to press the button on the front for 5 seconds to start the pairing process. They work great! I like that the two sockets can work independently if you wish or you can turn them both on and off too. I would absolutely purchase them again. The SmartLife app is great as well and very easy to use. Perfect purchase!

Of all the smart/wireless home gadgets, this is the one I was still looking for, and to me, the one that should have been one of the first ones developed. This is exactly what you need if you put up holiday lights or any other seasonal decorations outside your home.So, immediately setting up this outlet with my Smart Life app was flawless. I plugged in the outlet, and pressed the + button on the app, it really doesn’t get any easier than that. I am excited to be able to set separate timers/schedules on each of the outlets which I usually accomplish by using multiple manual timers. As you can see from my photos, each outlet has a corresponding entry on the app to allow for separate operation.Each port comes with a removable rubber cover, but the covers are not attached to the unit in any way, so once they’re off, you’ve got to keep track of them. The light on top of the device seems to be two separate LEDs. It remains off when unplugged, turns red when plugged-in, and turns red and green when the outlets are on. I couldn’t tell from the product photos how that worked, but now it seems pretty obvious.I just got this and I am using it for an outdoor fountain, but Halloween, and all of the Fall/Winter holidays are upon us, so I’ll update this review if for some reason this plug doesn’t live up to expectations.

The product does exactly what it says it will do once you set it up. Loved that you can turn on and off each socket individually or together. The plug integrated well with my google home system that I have. Being able to set a timer or a countdown of how long you want it to be on is a great feature. I wasnt able to test the waterproofing of it, but it seems like it would hold up well. Although, the waterproofing flaps are going to get lost easily.Even though the product says it will only work with 2.4 GHz wifi, it still works with Google Wifi. Google wifi doesn't have a dedicated 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz channel. It just has one channel that gives you the best speed either way.The biggest issue I had with the product was setting it up. It would have been quick and easily if the instructions said to select "Power Strip". However, there is nothing in the instructions about that. On top of that, the amazon description calls it a plug with 2 sockets, so when I went to set it up I selected socket. Needless to say it took me WAY longer than expected to set up.The two improvements I would make to the product are:1. Attach the waterproofing covers to the unit so that when they are off they don't get lost.2. Make the instructions more clear to included selecting "power strip" instead of one of the other options.

Overall, this a a great and inexpensive way to control your outdoor lights. We bought it specifically to control out deck lights in the summer and Xmas lights in the winter. It was very easy to set-up (we already had a number of smart plugs set-up in the KMC SmartLife app) and I had them working in less than 5 minutes. Just a few minor notes:1) The plug only works on 2.4ghz wireless networks, it doesn't support 5.0ghz.2) The plug includes rubber covers to seal each plug when not in use. The only issue is that they're not attached to the plug, so could be easy to lose.3) Each plug can be individually controlled in the KMC app (and timers can be set up). However, in the Google Home app, you can't individually control the plugs.NOTE: I figured out that you can control them individually in Google Home. When you set them up in Home, it shows as three separate devices, one Double Plug and two Single Plug controls!

Nice outdoor unit, but HARD to set up. The instructions are a color glossy printout, but the screen prints were impossible to read without magnification. The printed instructions do not match what needs to be done for set-up. You need to download and install the SmartLife app on your phone and to connect to your network. After playing with it for awhile and connecting it to Alexa, it works pretty well after all the work. Once set-up is done you should have a good outdoor smart plug.

This was easy to get setup in the Smart Life app. I bought this because I had 8 other outlet smartplug already in the Smart Life app. This one does not work easily with voice. Have to put the one that has both plugs in it into a room then turn that room off/on with voice but you can't have any other devices in with it or it won't work. Not convenient if you want to bundle with others in that room.

I've recently become obsessed with smart outlets and this one does not disappoint. This one has two outlets of which you can control separately right from your phone or with Alexa. I have two projector lights outside - 1 just colors and 1 with holiday images. When I only want the colored lights on (ie. for ball games), I don't have to go outside and unplug the other. Super easy app setup on the phone and with Alexa.
