This utilitarian style knife has a 6-1/2” double edge blade forged from 5160 carbon steel and is hardened. The choil or flat part of the blade is ¼” thick and 1” wide. A blackened iron guard is 1/8” thick. Hardwood grip is 4-1/2” long stained dark brown showing subtle wood grain. It is glued and a nut is bolted on the tang for secure fitting. It comes with a brown leatherette scabbard. One of the best simple fighting knife design ever. Kris Cutlery Commando Dagger style is an influence from the FS fighting knife.
