Bought this so I can charge my HP Spectre x360 on the go which it does just fine. It does get a little bit warm when charging both my laptop and phone but that's expected considering the wattage. Overall a good product so far although a bit expensive.

I recently bought a Macbook Pro which I need to use whilst out and about. One of my concerns therefore was to make sure I didn’t run out of battery power.I have fallen foul of trying to economise in the past, buying cheap products and expecting them to deliver.So this time I did some research:- Whilst the BatPower 120W 90W PD USB-C Car Charger is far from the cheapest car charger about, it fits my bill perfectly. It gives me peace of mind that it can cope with charging my Macbook whilst using it at the same time if necessary (and charge my phone!).It is more than capable of delivering the high power needed and doesn’t take up much space to store it either.Another great feature is that it comes supplied with different leads to connect to USB C (as my Macbook is) and also to standard USB.Highly recommended.

I've for a long time been longing for carcharger to charge my Surface computer and my phone - and still being able to offer a passenger in the car the possibility to charge their phone/tabletas well. The BatPower does exactly that. Especially the power coming from the USB-C connection on the BatPower for the computer - it charges my Surface PC just as fast as the original charger from Microsoft. I'm very impressed. I give this BatPower UL 120W 90W PD USB-C Car Charger my best recommendations.

I was fairly pleased with this item as it did allow charging of my HP Spectre laptop.It seemed to make a slight cracking noise at times and did get very hot which was a little concerning, but it charged said laptop without having to use an inverter, hence reducing power wastage.I would have expected to see more than seven months life from occasional use from a product priced to suggest quality.[Edit] After an email explaining the fault, Batpower swiftly sent me a replacement item without question.

After 6 months of use this product melted in the socket when charging a macbook pro. The fit wasn't snug and its possible that an arc caused the unit to overheat. Very disappointed, as I was under the impression this was a premium product.

I had been looking for a long time for a solution to keeping my MacBook Pro regularly charged while living 'off grid' in my camper van, and then found this little beauty.Quite how it generates the necessary wattage, I have no idea, but all that is needed is a cigarette lighter socket and charging is immediately facilitated.Small in size, powerful in use, worth the money and highly recommended.Mark

Great little device, pleased to see it's well made and for the price it seems of good quality and charges my 15" Macbook 2018 at speed and phone (at the same time). Just what I needed. I did think about buying a lower power device that would charge a bit slower but now it's here I think I've made the right decision.Looks good in black

Charges my Macbook Pro 16, however, it gets extremely hot! Wouldn’t recommend using for longer than 10-15 mins at a time and never while the laptop is in use as it gets even hotter! As others have mentioned, the fire risk seems very real so use with extreme caution ⚠️

This one is great, efficiently charges my MacBook Pro 13. It just becomes little bit warm on load, not burning hot like the similar smaller 83W product. There is no interruption under normal usage and no noise like most of the power investors.I have ordered and returned different products including well-known brand power inverters with pure sine wave output that had chemicals banned in California.Virtually supports all laptops, you just need a USB (PD) to Magsafe 2 or other convertors to use it. It's a good idea to buy a cigaret lighter splitter equipped with extra replaceable fuse and voltage LED to keep the vehicle's battery above 11.5 Volt while on access, although the actual voltage can be little bit lower on load. I have not tested this with MacBook Pro 16, I use it intermittently for few minutes each time to keep the laptop battery in range 65-75%.

I was pleased to find this USB-C charger that has a 12 volt to 24 volt range. I fly radio controlled aircraft and I have a ton of LiPO batteries. I hooked this thing up to a 6,000 mah, 6S, 22.2 volt LiPo battery and it works really well. It charged my laptop very quickly. With that battery I can run my laptop all day on one fully charged pack. TSA allows me to carry on my airline flights two of these LiPo packs at this capacity. Saves me a ton of money as I don't have to buy large capacity USB-C power banks. I think it's cool to use my hobby batteries cause I'm such a nerd. Plus part of my hobby expense is now a valid business tax deduction! Glad that BatPower provided this option!

Für mein neues HP Spectre 15.6" Laptop mit 4K Bildschirm musste eine Stromquelle für's Kfz her, damit der Akku auch längere Autofahrten (als Beifahrer) übersteht und am Ziel nicht völlig leer ist.Für mein bisheriges 17" Medion Laptop nutzte ich ein geniales Universalladegerät von Kensington mit zwei Eingängen, so dass es sowohl an 100 ... 240 V Wechselstrom als auch an 12...24 V Gleichstrom angeschlossen werden kann und stets 19.5V Spannung und 90 Watt Leistung liefert. Leider hatte ich keinen für das HP Notebook passenden Rundadapter mehr, sonst hätte ich es vermutlich einfach weiter verwendet.Also entschied ich mich für dieses BatPower Ladegerät, das versprach, trotz kleinstmöglicher Abmessungen genug Leistung für mein neues Laptop zu haben (HP empfiehlt zwar ausdrücklich ein Ladegerät mit 90 Watt zu verwenden, allerdings funktioniert es es auch mit externer HP Batterie oder einem anderen Ladegerät mit 65 Watt Leistung ohne weiteres). Als weiteren Vorteil erachtete ich bei der Kaufentscheidung, dass ich mit dem BatPower das bisher verwendete zweite Ladegerät würde einsparen können, mit dem ich unterwegs mein Mobiltelefon / Tablet geladen habe - in vielen Autos sind Steckdosen nicht eben wie Sand am Meer verbaut.Die Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell, auch die angeforderte Rechnung wurde auf Anfrage zügig nachgereicht.Wie bereits von einem anderen Rezensenten bemerkt, befand sich auch bei mir nur ein Kabel (USB-C zu USB-C, 1,5 Meter lang) im Lieferumfang. Für mich bedeutet das Fehlen des zweiten Kabels (USB-A zu USB-C) keinen Verlust, da ich aktuell dafür ohnehin keinen Verwendungszweck hätte.Mittlerweile habe ich das Ladegerät seit zwei gut Wochen und auf mehreren langen Autofahrten im Einsatz gehabt. Ich habe den Ladestrom nicht gemessen, habe aber keinen Zweifel daran, dass er die versprochenen 90 Watt erreicht, denn der leere Akku meines HP Spectre wurde auch dann zügig geladen, wenn das Laptop in Betrieb war. Dabei blieb das Ladegerät selbst handwarm (deutlich kühler als das Notebook). Selbst wenn ich zusätzlich mein iPhone mit eingeschaltetem Bildschirm und aktiver Blitzer-App anschloss, ging das Ladegerät weder in die Knie noch wurde es heiß.Das BatPower UL ist für mich die perfekte Lösung meiner Ladeprobleme unterwegs. Ich kann das Gerät darum uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Falls es unerwartet früh den Geist aufgeben sollte, werde ich diese Rezension ergänzen.
