smelled at first, like everyone said, but not like urine. like vey strong dye. they came packed well, all tied together and easily separable. but I didn't want to take them apart until I rinsed them. i put them in a bucket and filled it with warm water until they were well covered and then put in 2 to 3 tablespoons of my favorite, non-harsh laundry soap (Mrs. Meyers). i swished the water around and made sure the leaves were saturated and below the water line. i then let them soak for about an hour. i checked on them after about a half hour and swished them some more and added another tablespoon of laundry soap. after an hour I took them out and carefully dumped out the green water. i hung the leaves to dry outside and left them in the twist ties so they wouldn't tangle. i checked the smell while they were still wet and I didn't smell anything but the light scent of my laundry soap. when they were fully dry they didn't stink, they smelled lovely. they also felt like all the excess color had washed off (they were slightly tacky or dirty feeling from the dye). they were shiny and beautful!!! like other reviewers said, they are very delicate and they are lifelike. i love the look of them and totally would buy them again.

They are really pretty and look really nice but the smell is killing the vibe. I recommend if you buy these WASH THEM WITH SOAP. It helped reduce the awful smell. It doesn't damage them either but your water will turn super green n will stain anything until it dries. I think it might be the over dye that's the smell. Washed them twice in lukewarm water n cold water. Now they are hanging in my shower to dry on a hanger. I reccomend washing/drying them there. Kinda like how they look there too. They are delicate like real plants so don't be rough with them. They look better after washing them. The leafs will break off. I would buy again.Update: 3/28/19. Uploaded the bohemian candle lamp pic. The smell goes away. It may take couple days or a week. But I still think washing them makes them look life like n better. Less plastic look. I've had them up since I washed n dried them and they still look great. Going to buy more for the office. Great buy if you don't mind giving them a wash n dry.

Worked wonderfully for my friends 40th Greek Roman themed party! Definitely took the leaves out a couple days before to let them air out, as there was a chemically smell straight out of the package. But no scent after the fact. They were of good quality, but don't pull/tug on them too much (especially when separating them) as the leaves will come off.

Daughter loves these and they look great in her room however they are plastic and had a strong smell coming out of the bag. Also the main vine going across the top doesn't light up. Only the diagonal vines do. That could be improved upon.

Overall these did well for the project I am doing. They are a little fragile so I wouldn't yank or be rough with them (a few leaves fell off when I opened the package but other than that they were good). The pack I got came with 9 vines, they were good thickness when I layered them. I actually had 4 vines left over that i can use for other projects so i got my moneys worth out of them. They aren't super realistic but when blended with other products they look nice. I don't think they would look good on their own though. In the picture they are tucked around/behind the white flowers along the top. I just needed them as a filler/accent and they did the job well. I'm satisfied with this purchase and would buy them again.

Now it smelled but once I sprayed it with febreze the smell disappeared. Easy to put up as long as you come up with a plan on how to hang it without tying it in a knot. I ran a nail through a leaf and then nailed the leaf to another leaf. Took me all of maybe 20-25 minutes. (for rearranging furniture). Added so much to my room and I love it. I had enough left over strands to add some to my moms room.

These were the perfect added touch to my daughters garden themed party. They looked amazing .
