This collar is great! It holds charge for a few days and stays pretty bright. I have had so many people in my neighborhood compliment and ask about it.

My kitty is Zoey & her collar arrived quickly which was great. I cut the clear tubing with a utility kitchen scissors & kept adjusting the size until I could put the collar over Zoey's head. Then, she managed to get it in her mouth & chew on it to try & get it off. Then she stood frozen because with the collar on she couldn't move!!! Lol Quite hilarious actually. So, I cut a little more off & now she can't reach it with her mouth. I wanted this collar as a precaution because she's been darting out the door when I let my dogs out at night. So, she quickly got over being frozen & I just leave it on her. I lite it up, as a just in case before letting dogs out. I live in the country & losing her at night could be deadly. For her size she has a small head & her neck is exactly 7 inches in diameter. The pink is very very bright & you can see it for quite a distance. I've had these collars before, different brand though, for my dogs (they've lasted 4 yrs already) & you can see them for a minimum of 50yds at night, probably more. They're easy to slip on right over their head & this works especially well for a very furry black retriever whose hair hides all other collars. Because it's just put over his head it hangs loosely & is very visible. A regular lighted collar that's tighter around the neck gets buried under all the fur. I love it for this reason & that for my cat Zoey I can make it small enough to actually fit her correctly. The clear tubing is cut at 9 inches & total length with tubing together is 12 inches & this fits her 7 inch neck perfectly without being too tight AND she can't get it off by herself. If she were to get it caught on something it definitely would pull apart. Peace of mind all the way around! Don't know about how well it will charge yet, it comes charged but I'm not concerned & I think it will be fine.

I have this in two colors and my labs can be seen from quite a distance. They work very well.

We go to Wisconsin a lot ant it gets very dark. When I let the dog out at night I can see him anywhere in the yard. Even when we walk in the woods I can see where he is.

I have two of these in pink for my dog. She is a black lab and we like to walk around twilight. Having the ability to make her visible in the dark is a plus. I love that they are size adjustable and rechargeable. A full charge lasts a good 1 - 2 weeks for us. My only complaint is that the charging cord is a unique size. If you lose the charger, like I did for the first one, you need to order a 2nd collar so you can get a 2nd charger. I suppose it may be possible to get a separate cord but I figured it didn't hurt to have a back up collar around. The charger looks very similar to a standard USB but is slightly different, which is frustrating. This would be 5 stars all-around if you could use a standard USB charger.

really easy to use and holds a charge pretty well. I've charged it once and used it several nights (30 -40 min walk) without seeing a need to recharge - I did recharge it just to make sure it didn't turn off after a few days but i think it could have lasted longer. Really easy to cut to make sure it fits and it doesn't look like it'll fall off once you get it on - it's pretty simple but does what it says!

I have bought many different kinds of light up dog collars lately. This is the best one for the following reasons: 1. It is rechargeable via USB - Others are not and you have to buy batteries or they just die and you replace them. 2. It is sizeable (you can cut it to fit you dog) I buy 2 of each color - 1 for the dog to put around her neck, one for me to put around my ankle. so we are both visible. The way this collar works is the light shines through the plastic collar to the other end (hard to explain) but in a nutshell you can pull 1 end out of the collar's holder and cut it to make it shorter then put back in the collars holder and it still works. Some collars are like glow sticks with some kind of a filler inside that glows - you can't cut them to size. 3. They are super bright! The other collars with the glow stick material in them are not nearly as bright in the dark and they fade over time. My town doesn't have streetlights or sidewalks so I need something that is really bright and this collar is brightest of all the ones I've bought. Only downside I can think of is that the USB receptacle on the collar is a special size so you have to use the USB cord that comes with it (not really a problem unless you lose the charging cord). All in all very happy with this.

We live in a rural area. Our new puppy can't be allowed out alone for fear of predators. She is very lively and fast, so at night it's pretty easy for her to zip out of sight in the darkness, but not anymore. This collar is great, and I love how easily it re-charges.
