Great mic for price
Works great, sound is a little bit heavy on the low end

Arrived earlier than expected. I am using it with my cell phone to record with and it works great!

Microphone clip broke
It sounds ok but the microphone holder clip broke the first time I tried to use it.

Shock mount broke
Shock mount broke, and no readily available replacement options. The mic itself is so-so; I suppose decent value for money.

Terrible wire, good product
The media could not be loaded. The wires included in the box are absolutely dreadful, listen to the attached video for a demonstration. This isn't an issue if you have a spare 3.5 to 3.5mm aux cord lying around, luckily I did. Using my own wire it was infinitely better. The microphone as a whole is very clear, picks up exactly what you need it to.Shame about the included mic wire though, would have brought it up to 5 stars

Very loud hissing sound on all videos recorded with DSLR Camera
Bought this to record videos but there's a consistent and loud hissing in all videos recorded with my Canon DSLR camera (which works fine with my lavalier mic btw). Unfortunately, I took too long to use it so by the time I got round to it, it was past the return period. Stuck with lemon. I got this after so many great reviews on YouTube so I'm surprised by it's performance. Maybe I got a bad one but again, money wasted. Even spent extra money on a new audio cable just in case the one that came in the box was the reason. Made no difference.

Too much hiss and noise.
Really noisy mic. Returned and exchanged for the Rode.

Mounts too ridged, but works ok
The so called shock mount is too ridged for use in any situation where there is vibration, but the microphone works ok and will be an improvement over most camera built in mics.

Very good Mic
Very good mic, works, great for the price. Youtubers or just need a good mic for your cam.. get it
