Seemed like a good idea but given that the laser is attached to the scissors it moves around as the scissors do. So rather than providing a constant guide you can follow, it merely points the way the scissors do, providing a new guide direction every time the scissors move. The idea is about as clever as the solar powered torch or the chocolate teapot.

My wife loves these - maybe a little too much! I mean, there isn't anything which can't be improved by putting a laser beam on it and scissors aren't an exception.Seriously though, my wife despairs of my gadget habit and rolled her eyes when she opened this, but now she swears by them and has even recommended them to many of her crafty friends (friends who craft, not sneaky friends - don't trust them with laser-scoped bladed weapons).

Very hard to get 9n with, when I tried second time to use them, battery dead , no beam.

I bought this scissors initially because of the laser, however I hardly use this feature. It is an amazingly lightweight scissors, easy to handle and really sharp and accurate. I use it mostly for light weight dressmaking fabrics.

For cutting, tried it out, seems to be ideal for cutting.
