Great use on projector to limit subwoofer vibrations
I will say I used this on a shelf mounted projector that weighs 30 maybe 35 pounds. It has great image but when the sub kicks hard it shakes the whole room. This was a problem as the image would move and be fuzzy. Most notorious when playing music with a flat bar and numbers. This pad seems to remove almost all maybe even all vibration when placed on the four feet. Great price for better image and not reducing my subwoofer.

Worked great to isolate floor-standing speakers!
I am using these to isolate my Definitive Technology front tower speakers. After using the Model 1's to isolate my turntable, and being impressed by the amount of isolation they provided from floor vibrations from the speakers, I thought I might as well work on the speakers themselves next.My speakers are on a 2nd story carpeted floor, and they were previously spiked on the bottom to minimize contact to the plywood sub-floor. Still, I got a significant amount of floor vibration and I felt that the bass was a bit muddied at high volume. I came up with a poor man's solution to the problem, by purchasing two sets of these vibrapods, and a 4-pack of glass kitchen cutting boards, Glass Cutting Board by Clever Chef | Non Slip Cutting Board is Shatter-Resistant, Durable, Stain Resistant, Dishwasher Safe | 12" x 15.75" (Clear 4 Pack), also found on Amazon. I placed the isolators between the cutting boards and the speakers on top. What a difference! The floor vibrations were tremendously reduced, the bass is tighter, and the overall music quality is improved. Not bad for about a $80 investment.

Excellent value for practical application
I use the Vibrapods Model 3 together with the Vibrapods Cone. I have the Asus Essence III DAC/amp and it's feet, four round discs, keep the unit very close to the surface of my desk. This generated A LOT of heat that wouldn't dissipate very effectively. By stacking the Cone on top of the Model 3 (ball bearing upwards) I was able to add about 2" clearance between the Asus and the surface of my desk. Huge difference now with much better heat dissipation. The ball bearing on the cone fits very nicely in a hole in the discs underneath the Asus. I know that products like this are made for preventing vibrations that will affect the sound quality of music. That debate rages on but I've noticed no difference regarding that. I find these "vibrapods" to have a very practical application regarding elevation of the hardware for heat dissipation. The setup is stable and not ugly. This is very price worthy considering that you can spend exorbitant amounts of money on "vibration dampening" gear where all I wanted to do was elevate the Asus and solve a practical problem.

One Great little Improvement
I put these under all my AV components and they work wonders. I noticed improved clarity, I also use these under my Center Channel Speaker which is sitting on a glass shelved AV center and you can really hear the difference in the sound. The speaker is much clearer and the bass and treble response are greatly enhanced.

they didn't work for me...
I just ordered the wrong thing... ordered them for my pioneer 560 turntable but they weren't the right things... I'm hoping I can use the on something some time... my fault!

Great bang for the buck!
I read reviews on the Vibrapod 3’s. I took a chance and bought them. Placed them under the four feet of my Oppo 205. Immediate sound improvement.

WARNING: leaves rings on wood.
The vibrapods work well for their intended purpose, however, I noticed they leave rings on certain wood finishes. The attached photo is my Salamander Designs Archetype series audio rack. I was dismayed to find the vibrapods left rings on the wood finish and have not found any way to remove them, it seems something in the vibrapods is reacting with the surface. I have reached out to The Vibrapod Company for advice and have had no response to multiple emails. So, if using these on a wood rack, either put something down between the pods and the surface or look for another product.
