My 12 year old Grandson loved the puzzles in this book.

I got this book for the kids I nanny, and they didn't put it down for the whole day, and several hours in the days that followed. Whenever they're not doing it, I'm doing it. It's a really fun, really big book! Even after all that, +two weeks, we're still only halfway through it. DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone, young or not!

The kids love these! It keeps them off phones and tablets! I leave these in my car for long car rides! They love them and so do I!!! Mother approved!

CAUTION re 8/2024 Mfg date: If you have the version of "Highlights Ultimate Puzzle Challenge!" that shows "Mfg. date 8/2024" on the back cover (I'm not talking about the publication version, but rather the Mfg. date), you should glance at pages 134 and 135 before you use it or gift it and make sure the picture of Fisherman's Wharf is in COLOR. Mine was not, but I'm not sure if all copies of the 8/2024 version are defective. The Fisherman's Wharf puzzle is supposed to be in color and you can't find all the objects without it being in color because some of the objects the reader is directed to locate are in color (e.g., blue totebags). (It is also hard to find the other items on the page without the color because the color helps to provide definition). Anyway, I ordered this book from Amazon three times-- the first one I received shows Mfg. date 7/2022 in Jeff. City, MO on the back and is PERFECT and deserves 5 stars! I'm an adult and have been enjoying this book SO much that I bought one as a gift for my adult sister (I'm not sure what Mfg. date her copy had). More recently I ordered yet another copy for myself since the book was on sale. I figured that I can wait a period of time and work on some other puzzle books in the meantime, and then I can return to my new copy of the Highlights books much later and enjoy it all over again after my memory of the puzzle answers fades. BUT, when I thumbed through the 3rd book after it arrived today, I noticed the color defect on pages 134 and 135. I flipped through the rest of the pages and I don't think any other pages had the same problem. So, I'm giving this purchase 4 stars instead of 5 due to the defect. I might try seeking an exchange/replacement from Amazon to get a different copy, but if they only have the 8/2024 versions left, and if those are all defective, then there's no point. I'm checking w/ publisher to see if they know. It is still a terrific book even with the defective color printing issue in the 8/2024 version I received.
