Gorgeous! We love the design

I bought 8 place settings last year of this pattern. All of the large bowls broke in half. Three of the dinner plates also snapped in half. The smaller bowls and plates are sturdy and we now use those. I felt the dinner plates were too large anyway. Consider another product.

This was purchased to give as a christmas gift.Upon arrival, i inspected the set and discovered one of the bowls is clearly damaged and this fault has to have occured during manufacturing as the glaze has filled the crack. As the seller failed to response, it got it resolved via Amazon directly and Amazon has been nothing but outstanding to deal with.This set is of high quality, looks wonderful and has a good feel to it.

We were horrified to see her name attached to Royal Doulton at the bottom of the dinnerware set. The seller, unfortunately, did not say on amazon. I am not a fan of celebrities endorsement of a product like Royal Doulton. With or without the issues surrounding Ellen D. lately, my husband and I were just disappointed. We are users of this brand and the purchase of a new set was to complement the color, design and upgrade of our kitchen. We have decided to continue with the purchase just to avoid the hassle of returns. I bought ceramic paint to cover Ellen's name and make it look like a work of art as a solution to this problem.
