We didn't buy this on Amazon but feel it deserves my review to give others proof of the accuracy of this scale. I tested this scale with three calibrated standard weights of 50, 100, and 500 grams in five locations on the scale (the center and all four corners) to determine if it was accurate no matter where the weight was placed on the scale. In summary, all three test weights measured spot on in all five locations on the scale! Very pleased with the accuracy of this scale and the fact that the display faces forward so you can still read the display with larger boxes on the scale that hang over the front edge.The glare at the left side of the display is from my camera flash and not a display illumination problem.
