Vegan but not Low Fat.
I have been adoring all of High Carb Hannah's low fat, plant-based recipes for years yet I hadn't been dedicated to solely cooking her recipes until this year. With this printed book purchase, I now have all of her cookbooks---the others were purchased & downloaded from her website--I wanted a hard copy this time. Each of the numerous recipes that I've made in past years have been absolutely delicious--100% of the time! This girl can COOK!!!On her YouTube channel, Hannah documented how she had gotten rid of 70 lbs of fat with her high carb (starches) low-fat plant-based diet and has kept it off-- such an inspiration! I finally committed myself to follow her low-fat vegan meal plan 5 months ago and viola! Fat continues to slowly melt away.This "Saucy" cookbook arrived quickly. It is small...but there are plenty of recipes. Unfortunately, it was disappointing that only several were low-fat (some recipes provide a "Skinny" version, but very few).I was vegan for 7 years yet I found myself 25 pounds heavier due to eating meals from recipes containing ingredients and products high in fat that I mistakenly thought were healthy because "they were vegan!" . So having lots of experience making meals from recipes that tend to use ingredients high in fat that packed the pounds (cashews, hemp seed, coconut milk, soy yogurt, vegan mayo, tahini, etc. bases), I am surprised that more emphasis wasn't on low fat sauce recipes like the HCH youtube channel promotes. My body has proved that I cannot shed pounds with high carbs AND high fat. As much as I love her dishes, this little saucy book is a reminder of how I got into trouble to begin with. If you're already thin or on a maintenance plan, this book would be wonderful for you! To others trying to rid themselves of pounds, perhaps this is not the recipe book you seek. I hope some find this review helpful.

Disappointed
This wasnโt what I had hoped for and the cover is misleading. There are actually 27 sauce recipes here, not 55+. The rest are dressings, dips and spreads. A dressing is not a sauce, itโs a dressing.

Large Variety of Yummy Sauces
I liked the wide variety of sauces, including some Iโd never thought. There were also a couple of sauces with veggies inside (eg vegan curry).I would like to have seen instructions on how to make low-fat/low-cal versions b/c I am losing weight. I would also like to see recipes with a max of 5 ingredients.

Small, but good
This is a super small book, like less than 60 small pages. But content is good. I really enjoy Hannah's videos and every recipe I've tried, I've really enjoyed.I'm honestly really surprised by how small the book is.

Grateful She Worked These Out!
I have an eating out problem. With her sauces Iโm able to find some familiar flavors I enjoy in take out and make them at home in 10 minutes of less. Honestly going to save me so much money, and this cost me less than the price of 1 take out dish. Worth it.

Valuable and useful for WFPB eating!!
I am new to WFPB eating and was struggling with it. Thank god for YouTube! I found HCH and got lots of great ideas. The Saucy book is very valuable to me. Usually I would buy a cookbook and only use a handful of recipes. Not this book....every single recipe is useful

Exciting and Delicious!
I'm so pleased with these recipes. I've been bored with vegan recipes until now. The Pesto recipe is literally the BEST pesto I have ever had! The gravy is a rich and filling substitute for meat-based gravies. The vegan cream cheese and sour cream are so good I don't miss or crave the real thing anymore. Thank you Hannah! This book has made becoming vegan so much easier!

Brilliant when weight loss has been achieved
I gave 5 stars because the recipes all look amazing and are all WFPB but I am disappointed that there wasnโt more recipes supporting low fat for beginners. Iโve just started on the starch solution and was looking for low to no fat. I am definitely looking forward to using these when I achieve my weight goal though

Really good little book.
A small book but actually more likely to be used as it's quick and easy to find recipes. Very imaginative - I really love it.

Absolutely easiest recipe book ever
Small volume dressings and sauces are ideal for someone, such as me, living alone. But, sure that all can be doubled.Instruction is that they last up to 5 days in refrigerator. Great variety of vegan dips, salad dressings, pasta sauces, including sandwich spreads, and more. Very easy and very quick. Really like all of what I have made, and made them more than once. If something not particular to your taste, I have added ingredients that I like. Even friends have commented on how much they like them. Great little book.

Very tasty!
I love this little sauce book! This is exactly what I've been needing. I've tried about 6 sauces so far and YUM :)If you are new to Veganism.. and are confused as how to flavor your veggies..get this little gem. She also gives you the option of making your dressings low fat if you want. I hope there will be a second sauce book in the future.

Love this book!
So far I've only tried the lime cilantro sauce but I can't wait to try the other recipes. I like making Buddha Bowls and never know what kind of sauce to top them with. This book gives me tons of ideas.Way to go Hannah
