Just my luck! I tried this tens. Its not an EMS unit.Forget that. The tens is great...when it works. Had major problems with the remote.Excellent super customer service...so I returned it and replaced with the same. Got another lemon. Same problems with the remote. Had to replace it. The moral of this story is....”stuff happens”!!.....when you buy items by mail...You take a chance....But if you are lucky enough to deal with a good company...there’s no chance taken...VIVE is super great...The Remotes...not so much.Ya sou.....Markos

I bought this to use at work. I'm a nurse with back issues. I have used a wired TENS for several years. Thought I would try a wireless unit for the convenience. There are no wires to get caught on clothing, The controller is so much smaller and lighter than my wired units controller. It fits in my pocket and I don't even feel it there. This is rechargeable and can be charged with the included USB cord or plugged into an outlet. There are 6 different modes and multiple strengths. I have used the first gel pad multiple times and it is still adhering very well. Set comes with 2 pads to start. Remember to charge the unit for 3 hrs prior to first use. Not as powerful as wired TENS but very effective. You will forget you are wearing it. I had tried a few other wireless EMS units at a recent medical trade show which cost over $200.00. They felt no different than this one. The one thing I wish I could change about this unit is it shuts off after 20 minutes. I use my TENS continuously for hours. You must restart this one. Still it was a great price to introduce me to a wireless EMS. I would buy again.

I returned the first one because the remote did not function...it wouldn't even turn on, (and yes, I had the electrode turned on first.) I replaced it with a second one, and the remote turned on, but the mode selection didn't function well. It got stuck on mode 3 and I couldn't use any other mode. I returned the second and replaced it with a different product.

I purchased this unit because the unit I had before, it was difficult to get additional pads for. I really like this VIVE TENS it is very effective and has strong currents. It really helps with my sciatica, I am ordering extra pads. It is very portable, I carry it in my purse so it is handy when I start to feel pain. I love that it is wireless and the remote is very easy to use, you can tell what program you have selected. You won't be disappointed with this unit.

Remote works for 2 minutes then shuts off, then doesn’t even work 85% of the time. A lot of other people mention this in reviews, hopefully they get them fixed

Was hesitant to buy because there were no reviews yet, but this is absolutely awesome. The size is perfect (my store bought one was big and could only work on my back). I sed it in my knee and my back. Both worked great. The pulses can get very strong when you turn it up high- it would be too strong for me, but my husband would use that level. What sold me is the remote. With my old one I had to reach around to my back to adjust the speed- not easy to do when your back is thrown out. Now I just have the remote in my hand and can switch modes or speeds easily- and it is very responsive. I highly recommend this tens unit. I just bought another to give to my dad.
