For use with my big screen in my living room, after the wait of ten days I finally opened up the packaging and the polystrine to protect the speakers was almost glued to the base of the speakers as trying to remove the white stuff it was a hassle as it won't come off easily leaving the white stuff stuck to the base of the speakers anyhow managed to get red of as much possible I wired them with a brand new berhinger amp, during unpacking the subwoofer covers fell off that was simple to place them back in the desired position, put my amp in the Bluetooth mode and paired the device easily, choose one of my most favorite personal compilation of the songs turned on and bingo the initial sound blew me away for its depth, quality and expansion filling the whole of the living room with the delightful music surrounding from a pair, didn't feel the need of a surround system, it did the job perfectly to and beyond my expectations, as for the depth of the sound quality there was absolutely no issues for the higher or the lower end of the audio spectrum, it was and is rich and complete coverage of the full sound spectrum from the lowest to the highest frequencies audible I didn't find anything missing out vocals are clean and doesn't get lost in the orchestral composition highs are crisp and sharp with the finest details audible, lows are beautifuly covered by the twin subwoofers I have spent around few hours of listening at various decibels levels and there is plenty of room to go up or down without loosing on the quality of the audio pleasure I am above 55 now and I am an audiophile from the age of ten years and I know what the real music sounds like and how to harness any device to its maximum potential I myself didn't find any hassle with fine tuning the speakers with my amp, it was a breeze away , my surround system died a few years ago and now after having this new amp with these pair of speakers I feel no need to splash out any big money on something that may or may not tick all the boxes so for the moment I have dropped off the idea of going for a new surround system although I have concealed wiring already done for the 7.1 surround system but I don't feel the need after only a few few hours of listening to the best of my personal compilation I own almost 25000 tracks of almost ever possible gonre from jazz to the new age, I have tried playing everything in these few hours and I have not been able to fault anything whatsoever as yet, this is one of those things that gives you a pleasent feeling that you have invested into something worth its value to the best, Abba sounds exactly as I enjoyed it back in the eighties when we were not under any obligation to how loud we could go it is the exact same nostalgia come back from the past alive, in a nutshell pair them with a decent amp and you never will be disappointed please remember that every pair of speakers needs at least 50-100 hours of running before the speakers can come to full potential reason being that the floating coils inside the magnetic slots needs to be fully freed up to respond to the lowest or the highest amperage of current (power), please give them a few weeks settle down with the demands of the amp and it will show what the music is all aboutWell now its about a week of using these speakers, and I would want to add something important to my review, as these are Powe hungry beasts you will definitely need an amplifier with at least 100 watt per channel, better be 159 /channel, my amp is 200 /channel and they are hahhy to deliver what any decent pair could offer, I have replaced these for my already dead surround system and I have absolutely no intention of investing into another 500 or over pounds to complete my 67 inch screen they feel as if they weren't designed for the cinematic effects for the audio viduo experience, I am an audiophile and I know what I am talking about, I have had systoms worth 500 watt /channel and I have learned to harness the power beasts form the very early age although I am above 55 now, but my ears are well enough for the taste of the spices in any gonre of music, yes I am more inclined to listening to the compositions rather than the pop or disco end of gonre, I have to have a system that can deliver the compositions by the top composers existing today on this tiny planet earth, there are a few to go loud there should still be enough room to expand on the spectrum of the audible frequencies to our ears and a good pair will always urge you to go further up on the already tight and heavy bass and also the treble, I am pleased to say that these Chinese made so called German brand are good enough for any desired expansion, I have tried to set my Equilizer on the receiver and played around with the amplifier alike and to my delight it has not failed me at all of the possible settings for various gonre, Okay you don't want Bethoven or eastern mugal empire classical stuff, well you have your own choices, try whatever is thrown at these boxes and they are capable to handle almost anything I have tried so far, I am talking about the direct streaming from the net with very low quality codec reaching at your amplifier the only secret is invest into a good amplifier and you will not be talking about the surround systems anymore, I have had the best money could buy which died away a few country in the world who has been able to bring back over two kilograms of rocks and soil from the satellite planet and all of the most most aclaimed gizmos are are all made in China no matter how may purchase and belive that if I hook up this pair out to the human ears frequently response range they will handle it easily and efficiently as I have mentioned having a 9.1 surround system where I placed this pair as the front left & right speakers, this is a onkyo reciver/amp, with bose surround speakers and these front ones and I am unable to find the words to explain how beautiful the whole system is intergeated you with each other at any decibel level in my living room, actually my living room is large enough for any system that I could afford now as I have successfully completed my system and I feel absolutely no need to look around any more whatsoever because I know I shall be wasting my time, effort and money along with my patience so this is the best I could have achieved in my life of music and audio files I have gathered all my lifeI own over 30 thousand tracks from every possible gonre known to me or available in the market, from good old jazz to the new age gonre this there are two mid ranges and a tweeter with a sub woofer in each speaker the tweeter is glazed with some special coating that looks like a black metal stuff and it gives me best of the highest frequency response, two mid ranges are more than needed to give me crisp and clear vocals, violent and wind pipes instrumental richness one side woofer on each speaker is good enough for the lower end of the frequencies with smooth and soft and pleasent enclave, I do not think I need to say anything more as I have already given you my whole lifetime experience in this review so that you can understand what the music is all about and why we are so crazy about music having spend my childhood in the meadows of the highest peaks of the world where the decibels means nothing in terms of what is a loud music and there is no one to come interfere with your enjoyment, those beautiful hollow brick and wooden houses with red tiled roofs and occasional snow in the winter summers are always a THERE WAS NO WARNING OR INDICATION ON THE AMAZON WEBSITE ABOUT HAVING TO PAY IMPORT DUTY & WHEN YOU GO TO THE AUNA SITE IT HAS A UK ADDRESS AND YOU ARE NOT TOLD THAT THE PRODUCTS ARE SHIPED FROM CHINA VIA GERMANY RESULTING HAVING TO PAY THE EU IMPORT DUTYWhen the speakers arrived they sounded realy good, but after a short time playing, some Bob Marley music one of the speakers started to vibrate, and the bass level dropped, on investigation, I found that the sub woofer was fitted, using self tapping screws, that were not suited to the material that the cabinett material that is a thin layer of vaneer, on materal that was a composit material that resembled a cross between bad chipboard and weetabix, so the self tapping screws, were only just gripping on the thin vaneer, and the air presure caused by the deep bass forced the screws out of the speaker baffle, I drilled out the holes, with the intention of fitting raw plugs, then I used super glue to harden the material that looked and felt like weetabix, then filled the holes with epoxy resin, re drilled so I ended up with solid smooth cleen holes, I then fitted raw plugs and screwed the speaker back into the cabinett, I then compaired the repaired speaker with the other speaker, and due to the improved seal found far richer sub bass, I then repeated the changes on the other speaker, and again the better seal between the speaker and the housing, so the speaker will not fall out but sound better as well, apart from the poor construction I was extreemly impressed with the sound quality

Reasonable sound for the money however the way these speakers are shipped is abysmal. Use them where you don't need hi fi sound and you won't go far wrong. Numerous scuffs on the body of the speakers and even a couple of speaker cones hanging out of their push-in holes. Don't forget they are very cheap so you get what you pay for.

They do sound good and my neighbor agrees

Sub woofer was hanging off when removed from box, tweeters was loose. Scratches all over the unit. Definitely not new, or next to new as described on the listing. The sub does not have a low bass filter on it so is just another full range larger speaker. Won't be buying anything Auna again.

i would not buy them again all came busted with speakers hanging out of the units you would be best saving 84 pounds towards a good set of speakers that are not cheaply put together, BOTH SPEARKERS WHERE ALL BUSTED ,avoid unless you dont mind being dissapointed

The slim built makes them less cumbersome some than most other speakers that produce quality sound

I wanted to separate the speakers of my existing hifi system. I did not find any speaker stands that appealed to me and I came across these speakers by chance. They look good and I can say the sound is extremely clear. I listen mainly to classical music and the resulting sound is very satisfactory. They were delivered by the first quoted date ie 31st Dec - 7th Jan and they arrived on the 31st December. Great value.
