I needed a replacement controller for Craftsman garage door opener and it works great.

Easy to install

We have one original Liftmaster wall mount installed near the garage door(not sure why it was put there) and we have been using one of the remotes and keeping it near the door to our basement.This unit seems a little more flimsy than the one that came with the door, however it installed easily, looks like the original and works fine.I gave it 4 stars because it hasn't stood the 'Test of Time' yet and I may change my rating at a later time.I'm sorry I didn't buy one sooner

Control panel on my craftsman garage opener was nearly 20 years old and has finally started to fail. Thus, it was a real pain dealing with the garage door, it only worked intermittently. After looking for a replacement in all local hardware stores with no success, I was about to give up and just mount a compatible remote switch. Fortunately, I found one on Amazon. Apparently, Sears discontinued them years ago making it very difficult finding a replacement. I liked the description of the panel was clear and detailed enough to assure it should fit my garage opener. Once it arrived, I installed it immediately and it was a perfect match to the original one. So it only took me about 5 minutes to swap. Now, all the buttons work as they should and there is no more frustration. I also appreciate the instructions and new wire, screws supplied with the product. If you have an old garage opener and need a replacement control panel, this is it!

So I took it out of the box hooked it up very simple the door opens but the light and lock button does not work

The item was perfect. It was easy to install and allows remote access to open and close garage door. The button has a crisp response and green led to make it easy to find in the dark. It is just a switch though, with no motion detection. This was not a surprise as a read through the item description and would have had to pay much more for motion detection and I was not sure my garage door opener would support that function.

I have the original wall mount control panel next to the garage door. I purchased this second control panel to be able to operate the garage door without having to step into the garage, from the door to my basement.People normally use a door bell button for this purpose, but I like the fact that using the same panel as the original, I can also control the light and lock the garage. Plus I like the professional look.Install was very straightforward.Works GREAT.

So many similar part number on amazon, I was not sure if it will work. But not fuzz, when the package arrived, open it and installed in less of 5 minutes. Worked exactly as the original Chamberlain control. At this point I will say, almost 100% confident, that all these similar controllers are interchangeable.
