This sleeve is the perfect companion to the Yeti Colster 1.0, especially if (like me) you find yourself often drinking 16oz. energy drinks or craft beers and have the top half of the can just hanging out and getting all warm.The exterior finish is identical in texture to the black Yeti screw-top, so it almost looks as though it's an official Yeti product. It screws down tight and solid. This thing is very well made!Some have complained about the lack of insulation, even deducting stars for it. I completely disagree with that, as the extension still seals in the cold and is much better than nothing at all. And it is much cheaper than buying Yeti's new tall can Colster...I did apply a little of my own insulation to the inside of the extension, just for kicks, and it works really well. I used a small strip of HVAC bubble wrap (the stuff you insulate air ducts with) and it mates perfectly with the Colster bottom lip to keep drinks cool. It's just thick enough to "hug" the can as it slips in.I highly recommend this product to those of us still rocking the original Colster!

Works really well! It has some issues in the 3d printing where it is not completely a uniform/smooth surface, based on that I would probably have said 4.5 stars since its not 'perfect', but that's being too nit-picky. This thing is great.**UPDATE** after posting the review, the seller let me know they have fixed the printing issues and it is now uniform/smooth! This is a PERFECT product to use for energy drinks/tall cans. I would highly recommend it!

This adapter does exactly what the product description says.It fits my 12 oz Yeti can coolie perfectly, and holds a 16 oz can snugly. The plastic is a little thin, but it's both adequate and sturdier than the lock ring that comes with the Yeti. Technically, it probably doesn't insulate as well as the 16 oz Yeti can coolie, but it works fine for me in practice, even when I'm nursing a beer.I like the fact that this takes up less space than a pair of 12 / 16 oz Yetis in my kitchen cabinet. I also like that I can switch between 12 and 16 oz cans when hanging out with friends, without having to carry two Yetis around. This adapter is small enough to put in a jacket pocket when not in use.The only down side is the price. This product can only be considered a value when compared to the obscene cost of 1) the 12 oz Yeti to which it attaches, or 2) buying a second, larger Yeti for different sized cans. If you're looking at this adapter, though... in for a penny in for a pound. Just get it; you'll be glad you did.

Bought these to replace a Hopsulator brand stainless steel can holder. I drink 16oz rockstars and the gasket for the Hopsulator broke. I was going to replace it with the comparable Yeti model but thought I would give these a try. They work on my RTIC and Ozark (Walmart brand) can cookies. At 3 for $20 and being able to use these with my existing can coolers it seemed like a no brainer. It's going to be great to be able to use it for a Rockstar on the boat and then remove the ring and switch to regular 12 ounce beers.I doubt that this plastic ring will insulate as well as a full size stainless coozie but I'm sure it will keep my drinks plenty cold.

Finally - someone came out with an adapter that will allow for 16 oz. cans in the YETI Colster! Just received my order today and it fits PERFECTLY. I couldn't be happier with my purchase - these are worth every single cent. I am planning on gifting a few Colsters this year for Christmas, and I've purchased an adapter to go along with each gift. A big "thank you" to the manufacturer/seller for seeing this need and filling it.

I really wish YETI would make a 16 oz tumbler but, until they do, this adapter is a must if you like to drink liquids in 16 oz size cans, like your favorite IPA's. Not sure why they force you to buy a 3-pack to qualify for Amazon Prime but the single ones don't, are more expensive per unit, and they couldn't deliver before my trip unless I paid an extra inordinate shipping charge. Since I only drink one beer at a time, I only need one so I guess I will save one as a spare and give the other one to a friend.

I give 2 stars only because its not insulated its just black plastic and black draws heat. Therefore while outside on a hot day the heat of the day is drawn to my drink.

I was completely happy with this product when I bought it for my first Yeti Colster. Unfortunately, I recently bought a duplicate Colster and discovered -- to my chagrin -- that Yeti "improved" the Colster (= Colster 2) by unnecessarily changing the threads on the top, which makes this otherwise fine adaptor not fit the base right, and makes the Colster 2 lid not screw down onto the top of the adaptor at all.I give this product a 2 only because when I ordered it on-line (thru Amazon) the product description did NOT warn that it does not fit the new Colster. That is *bad*.FWIW, I do not like the new Colster better than the old one -- so *bad* on Yeti too -- but the original model is no longer available. Why do companies make unnecessary changes to good products? Seems like change for change's sake.
