Amazon Basics High Density Exercise Equipment and Treadmill Mat

Does the job and does it well.

Bought this machine to work out with. Things for you to know. This machine is a sturdy, first class piece of equipment. Too heavy to try to move around. Buy it if you have the space for it!! Go to a gym and try one out! I have yet to spend more than 5 minutes on it at one time. I am 82, out of shape and am planning to use this machine to change that. Did not realize how our of shape my legs were. Going to take time to master this machine, but, she's a beauty and in time, I will!

I was shopping for a mat that I could place a training stand for my bike to use indoors. I was a bit skeptical since it appeared from the illustration that the mat was about 1/4" thick. Many of the reviewers indicated that it was much less.The old mat was thin; didn't take much to cause it to rip; and the corners never laid flat on the floor. Well, this mat was just shy of 1/4" but 3 times as thick as the old one that it replaced. I also like the way that the long edges are rounded tapering to the floor thus avoiding a tripping hazard and its heavy enough to lay flat on the floor.

This thing is huge! I put it down before working out and it protects the floor from any scuffing. Not too heavy either.

I use this mat to keep my heavy bag from sliding and marking my floors. Definitely does the trick. No tears or wear so far

I bought this to go under my y bike and trainer so I wouldn’t saturate the floor with sweat. I was worried about the durability and haven’t had a problem yet. It seems pretty durable and is serving it’s purpose.

The media could not be loaded.  I needed a mat to work out on.I already have a full rubber flooring in my garage but floor exercises are a but rough on the back on the base rubber floor.So I bought this Amazon Basic mat.This thing is an accident waiting to happen.The mat is kinda shiny.The texture is very basic which makes me think not a lot of engineering went into the creation of this mat.The big problem is that as soon as you drop a bit of sweat on it, it becomes VERY slippery!Like don’t try lunges or any jumping exercises because you’ll flip on your back.I was doing pushups in the middle of a set and my feet started to slip off the mat.This is not worth the price and is not meant for active training.Maybe use it to put a very heavy machine on it only.

Very cheap quality product. Definitely not worth the tag of amazonbasics and also not worth Rs.1800/-. Best part is that you CANNOT GET REFUND. Not satisfied 👎👎

Life is a game of inches, and sometimes it's the little things that count. We have an elliptical and I wanted to put a mat under it. The options for the mat were 6 feet or eight and a half in length. As the machine was 6 feet I figured it would be tight, but it would get it off the carpet. The mat arrived in good time, and after unboxing, unrolling and getting it under the unit it was short. Not much, just an inch. The mat was five feet eleven and more than two and half feet wide. I don't mind the extra width which was a couple of inches, but losing it on the length was irritating. I did manage to reposition and sort of stretch it as I could. It works, but it would be awesome to have had a six and a half foot length which would be perfect for many exercise machines. the next size up is too big for our room. Oh well, it does the job, but for 50 bucks I expected better.

The item dimensions is advertised as 2.65 x 0.93 x 0.01 meters or 102 by 36 by 0.2 inches (L x W x H).After placing the mat flat on a hardwood floor and leaving it adjust to the room temperature, the mat thickness measured with a digital caliper at multiple locations is only 0.004 meter or 4mm. It is advertised as 10mm thick (0.01 meter).The mat is also advertised as high-density PVC. However, with only 2 fingers, it can easily be squished next to nothing in thickness. It subjectively feels like soft semi-rubber material.If you place the mat on a carpet with a thick underlay, your exercise machine (elliptical trainer in my case) risk ripping though this thin and soft material mat over time.

I use it for jump rope. Quick to put it on the floor, doesnt move a bit while doing the workout and once im finished I can easily roll it and keep it away. Before I used the interlocking mat which was too soft and cumbersome.This one is perfect.
