This recipe box SHOULD NOT be an "Amazon's Choice"!The ad for this box includes photos of a box full of recipe cards and dividers, and in the photos those cards fill the width of the box. THIS BOX DOES NOT HOLD index card dividers (4-1/2" tall) for 4" X 6" cards. The ad doesn't specify the size recipe card it will accomodate, but it does include the dimensions stated as, "7-inches by 5-5/8-inches by 4-1/2-inches tall". I assumed the "4-1/2 inches tall" meant it would hold a 4" tall card plus an index card with tab. It does not. Those are the OUTSIDE dimensions; the INSIDE of the box is only 6-1/4" wide by 5" front-to-back by 4-3/16" tall.I am returning the box, and I'm disappointed in Amazon for promoting it.This is the description by the seller in the ad: "Rsvp strives to offer quality kitchen products and cooking tools at competitive prices. Our bamboo recipe box is a perfect example. Constructed from flat grain Green bamboo, this recipe box will hold all of your favorite recipe cards, organized in one place. Most of my spice bottles (Simply Organic brand) will not fit. The rack is too thin by a couple of millimeters. See photos. Otherwise I love the design. The rack stands upright very stably, making it handy to keep in a cabinet and pull out for cooking, then put away again. I just wish all my spices could fit

This recipe box is very sturdy and looks nice on any shelf. I purchased wood dividers, created and printed my own custom recipe cards. Although I really like the idea of these shelves, the quality was not that great and they weren't easy enough to hang to justify any more than a 2 star rating.I was looking for shelves to hang on the outside of my cabinets next to my sink to add some convenient storage for my spices in my relatively small kitchen. I purchased these because I liked the way they looked and they had received relatively good ratings. But when I got them, I was really disappointed.First, the quality of the shelves are not good. As you can see from the photos, the shelves had gaps between the pieces (first photo) and there was wood pulling up from on the shelves (second photo). This was brand new out of the box- I expect better than that, even for a value product. Second, there were no directions to hang the shelves (they do have rubber feet already mounted on the bottom, so could be easily left on a counter, but the point of ordering these was to increase my cabinet and counter space, so I wanted to mount them, which by the product description seemed possible). The shelves are sent with screws and mounting hooks (third picture), so I wasn't too worried about the lack of directions because I can figure out how to attach those. The problem is that the bamboo is lacquered (?- at the very least, it's too hard to get a screw into without cracking the entire piece, with either a hand held screwdriver or a drill).In the end, I've kept these shelves and I hung them using those sticky 3M tabs (even though it doesn't look all that great). I do regret not just making my own shelves out of crown molding, but it's too late for that. Overall, I would definitely NOT recommend this product.

This box was too short for the plastic tab-dividers that were listed as "Frequently purchased" with this box. The lid is shallow and so doesn't have enough space for dividers with tabs much taller than 4." Also, there was a crack along the entire top of the box, which wasn't packaged in bubblewrap or anything, just inside a box. There are other boxes that I recommend for use as recipe boxes, but if you're wanting a simple, sleek, plain bamboo box, this would be great - if it isn't cracked.

We ordered 1 of these and found it to be just what she wanted, then she wanted 2 more so we ordered 2 more and now she wants 1 more so, we ordered 1 more, these are very nice spice racks that we mounted on our walls next to our stove for her spices, they are handy to have instead of fumbling around in the cabinets trying to find spices hopefully, the 4th one should be enough for her, don't hesitate if you are thinking about buying this spice rack, it's well made and solid as well, awesome product for the money that improves the functionality of our kitchen (her kitchen)

I love this spice rack! It's compact and cheap, but not cheap looking. I don't have many spices so just one rack is perfect for me. It comes with hardware to mount it if desired and it already has little rubber feet on it. I was specifically looking for something slim and not made of wire or metal and this fits the bill, my spices fit nicely and it doesn't take up much of my counter space. I highly recommend this spice rack, I may even buy another for when I do accumulate more spices!

This is a very handsome spice rack, and I got three to hold all my spices at the back edge of my kitchen counter, where I can grab them easily. They're reasonably sturdy, though not so much so that I'd bang them around. My only difficulty with them is that half-size round containers don't clear the sides and it's hard to see what they are. This is the price of the handsome styling, and I don't mind so much since I have very few half-size jars, but if you have a lot this may not be the rack you want.These are smaller than some racks; they'll fit six jars in a row as long as they're narrow-ish jars like McCormick or Private Selection spices, but only five Penzey's jars will really fit per row. I had more or less calculated that, and it's why I got three of them, but you may need to count your jars and measure your space to see if these will work for you. I will say, each row is plenty *tall* enough for any of my jars.In short, I like them a lot and am willing to work around their few shortcomings for the sake of the sleek styling in a very visible part of my kitchen.

A nice looking rack but spoilt by poor quality.1.0; The sides are not square to the base. 2.0; The joints are poorly made, all my butt joints were cracked and I had to re glue.them.
