Casual T Shirt Dress for Women Flowy Tunic Dress with Pockets Reg and Plus Size

I bought this dress as part of a relatively inexpensive and quick Halloween costume (a witch) and it worked out very well, and I received a lot of compliments.This dress is very soft, comfortable and easy to wear, the pockets are really nice as well. Also the black color is very nice and rich, not sure about how fast it will fade though.The fabric itself is a bit stretchy, so it should be able to accommodate for those who are a little more on the fluffier side, but it may be more form-fitting and thus show some unwanted curves due to the nature of the fabric.This would be good for a more casual dress for the cooler months, as I'd imagine the spandex-like fabric wouldn't breathe very well in warmer temperatures.

Dress is pretty and comfortable. Got many comments. Fit perfectly. Fabric is very soft. I want to wear it everyday.

Thankful for the reviews I read, prior to purchasing this dress.As many different folks mentioned in their reviews, the neckline was very high... and not at all like in the picture, but then again, everyone's body shape is different, and some have broader shoulders, or narrower shoulders, so I suppose it's bound to fall at least slightly differently on everyone. I typically wear a size 2x-ish (depending on cut and fabric)... so around 20/22 on top, sometimes smaller on top as well... I have a larger frame, and for many reasons I don't like a clingy dress, so I read very carefully before purchasing. Some people said that the dress fit a 3x more like a 2 x, and I would have to say that is very accurate in my case... at least with the burgundy dress. I loved the pockets, but since it is a thin material, I probably wouldn't put more than a piece of paper, or my phone in there for a quick walk through the office (not for any extended period of time). I received a ton of compliments on the color, the fact that it had pockets, and it is pretty cute! I do, at my size, have some lumps and bumps I like to smooth out, so I just got a cheap 2 dollar cami from W-mart, and wore that underneath, worked like a charm to smooth things out, and make the dress cling less. I don't have a large chest, rather on the smaller side, so I made sure to wear a bigger necklace, that took up some space if that makes sense, so it wasn't just a umm.... large blank space :-) ... Anyway, all-in-all, I would recommend it, but with those tips... if you're a little lumpy/bumpy, maybe order 1 size up, and grab a cami for underneath... get a big, pretty necklace that matches, and if you have a long-torso like me, maybe wear a pair of capri leggings? That's what I did, and will likely continue to do. Also, it definitely shows your arms... so be comfortable with how your arms are, and say heck with what people think, or get a little shrug/summer sweater to wear over-top. For me, I am just saying heck with it! I have spent too much time caring what people think, and it's summer, and I want to wear cute dresses and be cool and comfortable. I like it, and I think I'll probably purchase more dresses, in other colors! :-)**Added: The material of the dress seems to be decent quality, similar to that of ON swing dresses. I have already washed once, and hung up to dry (to avoid pilling)...

Who doesn’t love a simple black dress? Great fabric, feels super soft. Has held up nicely in washer/dryer. Size was a perfect fit, so true to size! Love that it has pockets!!! Can dress this up or down easily. I am 5”3 and it hits right above the knee. Will purchase again maybe in another color!

Below is the original review I left when I ordered this dress in a different color last summer. I ordered another this summer in a different color because I have really gotten a lot of wear out of the first one and, though it still looks great, decided to get a new one for back to school. Sadly this is no longer the same dress as last year. At first, I thought perhaps it was the different color as sometimes a different color in these types of items has a different cut. It was MUCH shorter than the one purchased last year. So, I ordered the next size up thinking this would give me more length since it's stretchy and should hang looser. Nope, still short. And I'm 5'1" so you know this is a problem. I would say most ladies would consider this a tunic rather than a dress. I checked the tags and the style number is slightly different and the cut number is as well. I ordered this dress by clicking through the link from my original purchase so I don't know what else to do but cry tears of sadness that I didn't order more last summer.ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2018:This dress is the absolute best! For those in the market for an affordable and well fitting dress in this style, you have finally found it here! This dress is stretchy without being clingy. It fits well in the top and skims over trouble areas in the middle and bottom areas without the dreaded "is she pregnant" look as it drapes very well. The length is perfect for me at 5'1" hitting just at the top of my knee. This will be appropriate for work and church but also look great on casual days with a change of jewelry and shoes. I really like this dress a lot! I was worried the dress would be too long since I'm quite short at 5ft, but it rests at my knees. The material is nice and soft. Pockets are sized perfectly, but I couldn't keep my phone in there because the material is so light and stretchy, my phone is heavy enough to awkwardly pull the side of the dress down. I still really like the dress a lot and will be wearing it often.

At first I was disappointed with the material but when I missed the window to return them I had to keep them. To my amazement I love these dresses. I am often a 12 or a 14 so I ordered two, one in a large and 1 in extra large and they both fit in different ways, they are not form-fitting, but not baggy looking. They are not clingy. They come just above the knee or a little higher with the smaller one. I have washed and dried in the dryer and they came out just fine. For the price one could not find a better dress to wear around the house, out for errands or even as a nightgown. It can be dressed up or down for many occasions.
