NX 9 for Beginners: Black & White Paperback – June 4, 2014

Just a notch above being better than nothing. It's worth $40, but not much more. Don't expect it to teach you enough to learn this without something else.

I love this book. It's great for newbies since it moves at a perfect pace and has enough pictures and examples to explain almost all details. I just wish there were solutions for all exercises posted somewhere.

Good place for me to start with this. Easy to read and follow those step by step. High recommend for anyone who wish to start learn on NX9 Program.

I bought this book after getting overloaded by myigetit.com. At that site, I found myself spending several days going through the new users tutorial for NX 9 and getting overloaded with information about command options without actually doing any drawing or part modeling. At the point of writing this review, I have only read the first two chapters (kindle addition) which go over menu basics and how to draw using the sketcher. I found the information very helpful and the step by step instructions gave me the ability to begin making basic sketches in an hour. The book is pretty easy to understand though it does suffer from some grammar errors, but that aside it is very easy to understand. It gives you enough information to perform an operation and understand what you are doing without overloading you with extra information. It also includes several step by step examples and assignments at the end of each chapter so you can practice and test your proficiency. An added bonus at the time of my purchase I was able to receive the kindle addition free with the purchase of the printed addition.
