Expand on Rokugan with this book!
First and foremost, this book adds a ton of lore regarding Rokugan. As expected, it will give you lots of background information on how Rokugan came to be. It offers more details on castles and their inhabitants, traditions (such as the Gempuku), war and diplomacy, centers of trade and urban life, some economic insights on how things work, harbors, crime and punishment, magistrates and how to play them, rural communities, rural life, social status and hierarchy, roads and rivers, sacred spaces, shrines, the kami and fortunes, religious practices, forbidden beliefs, the mysteries of Shinsei and his philosophy, monastic life and traditions, life in the wilds and info on different terrains, and new maps (once again, they come printed on the pages of the book). It also introduces the Imperial Families as an option for character creation, and new schools (Miya Cartographer School, Miya Herald School, Otomo Schemer School, Seppun Astrologer School, Seppun Palace Guard School, Fortunist Monk Order, Shinseist Monk Order, Kitsune Impersonator Tradition, and Kolat Saboteur Conspiracy). Oh, and it gives new advantages and disadvantages, new techniques, and new titles. All in all, it's a good sourcebook!

Excellent supplement
One of the most underated RPG's today. Every book, every supplement is done stunningly well. In many respects it's better than 5e and the other top dog RPG'S.
