Great for Maclaren and probably any stroller
I had a Maclaren expandable footmuff for my Maclaren Twin Triumph (one of the worst footmuff designs I have seen/used). The zipper tore off after 3 weeks of use, so I needed a replacement. I live in NYC, so I use this daily once the cold starts. I ordered 5 different ones. This one is a million times better.Pros:- It attaches very securely to the stroller, so my kids can get on by themselves and don’t slide off. My 4yo doesn’t use the seatbelt and rides fine - in others he had to be harnessed because the footmuff was too unattached to the frame and became a “slide”.- It fits my tall 4yo comfortably and my 2yo snuggly. If my 4yo gets too tall, I can unzip the bottom so his feet come out, and he will still be warm and dry.- The back comes up high so my kids are protected from the cold even in umbrella strollers with open backs, like Maclaren.- The loops for the harness work well for the kids’ different heights.- The hood and top front can be closed tighter for colder days. My 4yo fits ok in the hood.Cons:- It is new, so I can’t speak to durability (that’s why I have 4 stars). It appears to be well made, though.- I did add a shoelace through the loops for airdrying in order to tie the bottom of the footmuff to the stroller’s footrest. This prevents the footmuff from getting stuck on the wheels or dragging into big puddles. But this required no sewing or tools.- I wish it came in brighter colors. But the grey one is nice.I like it so much that I am throwing out the other Maclaren footmuff (which hasn’t yet broken) and replacing it with another one of these. I like it better than my old Bugaboo and Stokke footmuffs too. They really thought through the design with the bottom zippers and hood. I don’t have the Bugaboo stroller or the Stokke stroller so I can’t say whether it would attach to them, but it is definitely worth trying (free returns).

Great winter accessory!
I was looking for a stroller muff that would hold-up against New England winter temperatures without breaking the bank. Friends recommended other, more expensive options but I couldn't justify spending more for a stroller muff than my own winter coat! I took a chance and went with this option (based off great reviews,) and I wasn't disappointed. It was easy to install and is easy to use. I like the flexibility of keeping the bottom open for some ventilation. The drawstring hood is also a nice way of adjusting the muff to our needs. The materials seem high quality and the inside is so cozy. For reference - on a chilly, windy day (windchill in the 20's,) I only put my little one in a light fall fleece and then directly into the muff and she stays toasty warm. Given the fact that this product is wind and water resistant, I feel confident knowing my little one is safe and sound even on the coldest of days. I washed this product before installing it (washed on cold and air dried,) and it came out beautifully. Highly recommend!

Thick but flawed
I purchased this cover after researching most of the products on the market. We moved to MA in the middle of winter. My 1 year old uses it. To think in terms of coverage, in 0-10 degrees I use a t-shirt onesie, thinner long sleeve, sweater and a lighter jacket underneath this cover. For under 30 degrees, I would use onesie, sweater, and a light coat. This cover would replace a thick winter coat so I dress my daughter underneath accordingly. I always put a hat or hoodie on under 50 degrees because of the opening. The hands stay in very warm, no need for mittens unless they stick their hands out. It is windproof, waterproof and very warm, however: our daughter hates sitting in it. I barely put her in, she also doesn't like coats or feeling bundled. The straps are significantly reduced because of the straight positioning of the back of the cover. There is no dip for the butt plus kids slide so overall the straps are much tighter and I already have it on the maximum. The second thing I dislike is that while the hole for the head is big and can be slightly adjusted to shrink it, there is a big hole still and if it would snow on it the head is not protected. Luckily I have a sun cover from the stroller but for a stand-alone product that is to be fully usable in harsh conditions, this is a major flaw. I would change the design and add more material on the top like a hoodie type structure to protect from the elements. I am hoping that she will use it next winter as well but I doubt she will sit in a stroller by then. Considering that the price is the same as an adult jacket, you want at least two seasons usage. In terms of length, I think it could stand up to 2, 2 and a half-year-old.One other issue I had was that while this cover is great for walks, it is for walks alone. Logistically I put a light jacket on underneath and if we get to a playground she can't come out of there because she is not dressed for the elements. So another thick coat is needed to move around outside of the cover. So for joggers, it's ok but for a walk, to a playground, it can and has been problematic. Just something to think of.

Does not work with BOB stroller straps but is warm and great quality nonetheless.
I live in Colorado and have had great use with this footmuff during the cold winter months. It unfortunately is NOT compatible with BOB strollers as the straps are not removeable to thread them through the footmuff slots. However, it still works with the stroller and doesn't slip too much. Just don't expect your toddler to sit still as there's no way to use the harness straps with the bob stroller.

Cute foot muff!
I added the foot muff to my I think 2014 uppa baby vista. It serves its purpose but it’s only a matter of months until my 2 y.o outgrews it. I guess he’s kind of long for his age. My son doesn’t like it but when it’s cold he doesn’t have a choice. The zippers are okay, you just have to not force it and zip it carefully. The hood annoys my son but it keeps his head area warm. Got this because we love walking outside and a blanked won’t do much because he can just kick the blanket off. Love it!
