We now have two of these. The first one we bought six months ago and the second just a few days ago. The First is lovely and soft and holds itself very well and springs back even after the cats have been on top of it. The new one however is lovely and soft but is unable to hold itself which is a little disappointing, but the cats don't seem to care and just push into it. We bought the second as we have just acquired an addition to the family and thought another of the same beds would be good. I very much doubt that two adult cats would fit (I might be proved wrong) but currently a ten month old and ten week old sphinx are finding a way. If the manufacturer could ensure consistency in the product holding it's intended form I would highly recommend this bed.

Perfect size for my miniature dachshund. Will not use doughnut bed I bought but she loves this bed and sleeps all night in it. There is plenty of room in it as she grows, only has for a few days so not yet washed and hoping it keeps shape and softness when done

I was hoping this would give our puppy somewhere cosy to go when he’s over tired but actually he just chewed at it. The fabric is really easy to put and there are large threads that I’ll have to cut off to stop him eating them. I think it already had a hole in it when it arrived too but I only noticed after we’d put him in it. When he did finally go in it (or should I say, when we put him in) he did sleep pretty well. Definitely wouldn’t buy one of these again.

The bed when it came arrived vacuum packed, it puffed up straight away but doesn’t look as puffy as the pictures online. The opening of the cave bed is very small so the pictures with the Bichon Frisé in is quite deceiving, however I brought this for my miniature dachshund who is fully grown at 10/11lbs in weight and he fits in it just nice, ideally I’d of liked it to have been a bit more sturdy so this will only be temporary til we can find something more durable.The bed is soft and cosy but it’s not padded amazingly, though my Dach seems to love it and hasn’t left it since it arrived.I wouldn’t buy this bed for anything bigger then a miniature dog like a dachshund, chihuahua or pug sized pet, nothing bigger then 11lbs I’d say. but overall I’d give it a 3/4 star rating just because my lad loves it, though I don’t think it’s worth the £20 though.

Update on review - I ordered a second bed for my other cat, only to find out the quality is as it should be, way better than the disappointing article I got the first time. The net bag was the correct size too, so tiny on my first order - couldn’t fit a spud in it never mind the bed. Anyway new bed is way better fabric and hood stands on its own. Cats much happier with this one. I didn’t return first bed, one of my cats just lies on top of it, hence me ordering the second bed - cats were fighting over who was getting on it.Just arrived and so disappointed - lovely and soft and my cat would have loved it, but it won’t sit open so all he’d be able to do is lie on the top. Sadly going back.

I bought this two years ago for my tegu and it's held up remarkably well against his lizard claws. Would recommend for any medium - large lizard owner.

Not sure why the picture is the wrong way around in Amazon, sorry about that. I was looking for something to keep Bagheera warm at night because she sleeps in my bed but not under any covers. This was perfect. She likes boxes and fluffy stuff. Before buying it, I checked if she'd enjoy something like this by building one that had a similar shape out of a bread box and a warm blanket. She liked it a lot so I bought this.It's very soft to touch and has quite a bit of space in it. I was worried that it'd flatten itself when I got it out of the box but it didn't, it's still soft and if you put your hand on it it collapses but it seems to regain shape. Bagheera loved it as soon as I placed it in her spot and she came to check it out. I can see her grow into it and I hope it'll be with her for years.

It may not be entirely the fault of the product, but my dog viewed this as a toy to be chewed rather than a place to rest her head. She'd eaten through it within half an hour.
