ProMix Nutrition Whey Isolate Powder, Vanilla - 2.5 Pound

Although it pains me to spend $70 on protein powder when I used to get giant containers of it for 20 bucks, I got tired of putting junk in my body haha. This stuff is incredibly clean, with simple ingredients that don’t cause me any bloating or stomach issues. The consistency is a bit thin, but I mix it into smoothies or add some powdered peanut butter and it’s perfect. You can also just use less water/milk and it’ll be thicker. I like the vanilla because it adds a lot of flavor to smoothies, and I’ve also had the strawberry which is good too, but I don’t enjoy it as much on its own. Overall my focus for protein powder is on high quality, clean ingredients and Promix delivers there. My only con is that for some reason my most recent package doesn’t re-seal at all. For the price, this needs to be fixed asap.

I like the natural ingredients and not having a bunch of chemicals added. I wish it had a stronger vanilla flavor, but I don't notice any after taste other brands have that's gross. Isolate gets really foamy when mixed with almond milk in a Ninja. But, that happened with other isolate brands, too.

I adore this stuff. I use it every morning and legitimately get giddy thinking about it. It tastes wonderful and mixes in well. I am incredibly critical when it comes to ingredient quality, and this stuff passes muster. Yes, it's pricier than what you might find at a local grocery store or GNC but trust me. Paying more upfront goes a long way in the long run. This stuff doesn't bother my stomach and it tastes great. Part of the reason I think I digest it easier is because it's bio-available grass fed whey protein ISOLATE; high-quality dairy can be easier to digest than some of that more hyper-processed stuff. Also, this naturally has brown specks in it. I wasn't expecting it and was shocked when I opened it, thinking it had gone bad. But it's supposed to be in there!! It's the coconut sugar. Way better than overly processed white sugar.

This taste like “soap” in my coffee! I’ve purchased this before so I know how it should taste. This batch is absolutely horrible. Also my bag does NOT close. For the cost it should taste good and stay closed for freshness.

Honest opinion here. Ordered about 2 days ago to try, if you are looking for a very super sweet , with a lot of flavour protein powder this is not for you. But If you are here for a very clean protein powder, don’t mind the lack of flavour, mixes well with other things and there is no extra other BS this protein is absolutely for you! I am giving it a 4/5 review bc of how expensive the protein is for 30 servings, it is a shame but it is good product. Wish there were more offers/discounts for it. The headline says it all. I hate protein powder, well at least, up until now! I have tried them all and by all i mean the most popular brands, ON (Optimum Nutrition), Isopure, etc., that all suck! I was going to give up on my search for a decent protein powder as I figured they all sucked. However, now that i'm more conscious about what I put in my body I decided to maybe try something more "pure", I wanted to opt for a powder that had the most "natural" ingredients, no artificial this and that, or long chemistry-class names lol I'm SOOOO glad I did! Below i'll list the pros and cons: CON: The price! However, it's WORTH it. Also, if you're keto, the coconut sugar may be a deal breaker. However I am low carb so the minimum carbs worked for me. PRO: The taste! It's sooo good. It's blendable, however there are brown specks in my powder which come from the coconut sugar. Not sure if everyone's batch is like that. This could be a con for some, but I don't mind as I recognized it as coconut sugar doing coconut sugar things.

the protein itself is not bad, i just barely tried it but it doesn't have much of a taste for french vanilla. it was smooth and mixed well. i couldve maybe used too much water, but who knows. the main issue here is packaging, and oh my god the packaging is terrible. who knows why they didnt just do a tub like every other decent protein company (could be pfas but there's different materials that can be used to limit those). the bag refuses to close because you need to scrape out all of the protein powder from the zipper mechanism. whoever designed this should get paid less because this is pretty much why anything in a bag with a zipper is useless if you're not actually controlling the powder itself or the shipping process. the scoop is also very off mark, the serving is 2 scoops or 38g, but 2 scoops loosely packed give you about 50g of powder. im never buying this again unless there's an updated packaging and definitely recommend weighing instead of just blind scooping bc your servings will be way off and this already doesn't even look like actual 30 servings. just be cautious with this product. i spent a good 3 minutes trying to clean out the zipper as best as possible to finally close somewhat decently.

Regular for me. Clean and nutritious.
