I had initially used an aerial splitter to plumb both my FM and DAB signal through the same roof mounted shark fin aerial on my Jaguar X-Type, however whilst the FM worked perfectly the DAB really was poor, unless you were in a strong signal area then it would break up and continually cause the radio to auto switch from DAB to FM in search of a stronger FM signal.I took the plunger and bought this in the hope that it would solve the problem and also because it was way more cost effective than the ones available in the high street car stores that begin with 'H' and I'm so glad I did because it was both easy to install and also provides a flawless signal now.Whilst driving in areas that previously caused the radio signal txobreak up, the signal now maintains a perfect reception and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.Just one word of advice having fitted a more expensive one on a previous car, be really anal about cleaning the windscreen where you are attaching it so that it is spotless, as when I fitted this one it was a much more professional finish due to highering my window cleaning standards. I also sanded some of the paint back to the bare metal on the A-Pillar where the aerial attaches for better grounding and I feel this has also made this one perform better than the more expensive one on my old car.

This replaced an existing DAB window aerial which did not perform well at all and once fitted I could pick up all the digital channels and reception improved 100 per cent so would highly recommend to get the best out of your Radio

Unfortunately the receiver I got was missing the protective film but once installed it did actually work. The range of channels is great and the sound quality is outstanding.

Arrived this afternoon, followed instructions to the letter, cleaned the glass thoroughly, used a flapper wheel on the Dremel to strip the paint on the pillar down to bright metal so that I could get a good ground contact, installed it and plugged it into my Kenwood head unit, "DAB ANT ERR" message, I tried changing the Aerial settings from the main menu but it made no difference and poor reception on many DAB stations.Tried it on FM, picked up more stations but most didn't show the name of the station which the previous Aerial did.Took the car for a drive around areas where I know the DAB & FM signals are good, didn't pick up signal on DAB or FM in a lot of places.BBC 5L which is almost always a good signal failed in many places.Quickest return request that I have ever made and it will be going back.Check reviews, filter by "Most Recent", several buyers are saying exactly the same.

Fairly easy to install once A pillar was removed. Compared to signal booster box supplied with head unit this is 100% better - no loss of signal and much improved sound quality. Excellent value for money and highly recommend!

Not great, not bad

This is the 3rd car I’ve fitted the same DAB adapter to, first time used an autoleads stick on antenna, second time a roof mounted OE cheap eBay special, both of which the signal would drop out making me assume that coverage in my area was poor. This one however at half the price of both works fantastic with no dropout whatsoever even during a 60 mile trip. I believe where I went wrong with the autoleads one is that I didn’t scrape the A-Pillar paint off to expose the bare metal, this is a must as in order for it to work effectively there needs to be a strong earth connection. The antenna comes with a fantastic set of instructions and if you follow them to the letter for the install then you should get the same coverage from your retrofit as you would from factory fitted original equipment.

Ho gia due autoradio Dab+, una sul camper e l'altra sull'altra auto, ne ho apprezzato la qualità ed ho deciso di installarne una anche sulla mia smart, per non correre rischi avevo deciso di affidarmi a marchi blasonati, sia per l'autoradio sia per l'antenna, ma una volta installato ne sono rimasto deluso, scarso e debole segnale, tanto da rinunciare al dab e riaffidarmi al vecchio ma pur sempre valido segnale FM.....Poi un giorno purtroppo mi si è rotto il parabrezza ed ho dovuto sostituirlo, la vecchia antenna era appiccicata al vetro e di conseguenza ho dovuto sostituirla, visto che ormai non ascoltavo più tramite dab ho deciso di comperarne una economica e mi sono affidato a questa, SORPRESONA!!!!!!! finalmente ho acquistato un segnale forte e stabile!!!!!!Morale della favola, spendere di più su marche blasonate non sempre porta a risultati soddisfacenti.

Fonctionne parfaitement, installation facile en dehors de la notice en Anglais.

L’antenna fa il suo dovere installa facilmente senza incollarla al vetro. Ho messo l’antenna dentro il cruscotto e la ricezione è stata immediata con stereo jvc
