Fantastic all metal construction, and you can definitely feel the exceptional build quality. I attached one to an L bracket (with 2 cold shoe mounts) that I run off of the bottom tripod mount on my DSLR, and I attached the other onto my hot shoe above my camera. On the one attached to my L bracket, I run a Tascam DR-05 to supplement audio recording on my camera (better audio quality with the DR-05), and on the mount attached to the top of my camera, I have an LED light (which swap for a GoPro in fisheye when filming outside to get a secondary wide shot).

Very useful for mounting, say, a Zoom recorder or similar to the shoe of your mirrorless camera. If I had to offer one gripe, it is that the thread is a little longer than it needs to be, though we're talking just a second or so longer to fasten it to the camera, and then accessories to it.

Did exactly what I purchased it for. Threads were all good on them and I really like the fact it comes with both size threads just in case I need to use it. I searched for a while trying to find what I needed and although it is a bit on the more expensive side compared to others I feel it was worth the price, they will hold up for years to come.

I use it on Panasonic G7 hotshoe. Works great for the money. I received two(2).

I wish the locking was a little tighter for our heavy monitor, but in general, this is exactly what we needed. The price is definitely right on it.

I use this to mount a digital recorder on top of my static camera when recording live music events. They're small, so I like to have a spare to be sure I have one handy. They're great so I don't have to set up a tripod just for the digital recorder.

I just needed a way to attach some 1/4" accessories to a hotshoe mount, these fit the bill. Used in conjunction with a hotshoe mount for a light stand to mount a YN600 LED light. Love SmallRig's stuff

Rest assured, these little guys fit perfect in your hot/cold shoe and the 1/4" thread is spot on. I bought another brand adapter before this one and the 1/4" thread was too big.

Great for small DSLR attachments like mic's and lights. The cold shoe or 1/4" thread attachment is perfect.
