ScanmarkerDigital Highlighter - OCR Pen Scanner and Reader - USB Version (Mac & Win)

This pen saved a lot of my time at work, where I have to copy a lot of data from paper to excel. Highly recommend !

I purchased this item in the hope that it would save me time as I read a lot for my project, however, it turned out to be the opposite. The item doesn't function effectively, it requires much effort and is time consuming. Typing is a lot quicker than using this useless so called text scanner. On a down side, I purchased this item when I was heading for my annual leave, depriving of the opportunity to return it.

This is a really neat product and customer service is exceptional.I've had my scanner for a little over a year and, after my Mac went belly-up (not as a result of using Scanmarker I must add), and I replaced my machine, the people at Scanmarker couldn't have been more helpful when I discovered I had lost my license key.I sent them a copy of the original Amazon receipt and within a short while I had a new license key.Neat product. Exceptional customer service.Well done guys.I've my eye on the newer, more advanced Scanmarker model ...

After a few false starts it became quite easy to use. Worth the money for the ease of note taking.

It’s not very accurate is the bottom line, but if you can get over the frustration of it getting things wrong your still saving time compared to typing.It struggles if the page isnt perfectly flat (really good for hard back books, a pain for pages at the start and end of a soft back book) and its scanning end is far wider than text in most books which is a bit of a design flaw as it makes lining it up harder to than it needs to be. It’s also really sensitive to tilting so if you’re used to having your pen on an angle when you write (like me) that can be a real pain. The wire also weights it on one side making it more likely to tip, and i’d get the wireless on if I bought it again.When it scans handwriting it’s as an image not text so if you want it for this just get a printer that scans (so much cheaper and does more stuff)In a few years time this tech will be amazing. At the moment it can be really annoying to use. Even when it doesn't work right though, overall it’s still quicker than typing.

It is just great, no regrets.

It couldn't scan text properly. It's not accurate even 20%. horrible experience. waste of time and money

Easy to set up and use. Very rare mistakes in character recognition. I use it to transfer relevant info from my patient's studies into my electronic medical record. It's a real time saver.

Produit nickel mais vous aurez besoin d'un peu d'entraînement. Une fois maitrisé, c'est carrément top.Des limites toutefois à ne pas dépasser. Documents abîmés ou mal imprimés. Très efficace pour une utilisation standard.
